He's not, man. That's daft. If he's guilty of anything it would be his choice of DOF, and to be fair he's done pretty well until this season. Do DOF get sacked mid-season? I don't think they do.

No one knows the conversations he's had with KS or what his targets are. I don't know exactly what makes a text book owner but one of the things will surely be not taking "too much" notice of what the supporters are saying. Nothing long term could be achieved that way.

Very lucky that Huddersfield drew and Plymouth and Sheff Wed lost

That 5-0 vs Southampton feels about 10 year ago, season end can’t come quick enough

I get that, but he knew last November last year he had an issue with Kristjaan but he let it ride no one knows why.

I thought after that dismantling we’d be looking at a nailed on top 4 finish. It’s all fell apart since Dan Neil was sent off against Boro and that second half happened, we haven’t recovered from it.

I'm not whining because someone disagrees with me. I've had huge arguments with lots of people on here and then the next day we've forgotten about it. Having a different opinion isn't a problem. I don't agree with what @Teessidemackem has posted this afternoon but I know, if I felt like it, I could disagree with him, argue about it and we'd forget about it later.

What I do have a problem with is posters making out that other posters' opinions aren't valid because they no longer live in the region. Many, many people who have used this forum over the years have been exiles. No one has ever been told that their opinion is not valid due to geography. So the fact that it's happening now goes against everything this forum ever was.

Sacking Beale after 2 months was the watershed moment. The failure of this season is on his shoulders, the sacking of Mowbray, the appointment of Beale, no CDM or number 9

I don’t think that’s the case mind, maybe with some but I don’t blame them as we are a passionate bunch of fans. This performance was absolutely not acceptable, from the player performances to the tactics.

I don’t personally dislike anyone at the club, we don’t really know who is pulling the strings but the anger directed to the club is based on very relevant questions.

Why are the club so rigid in the “model”, for want of a better word, when it is blatantly obvious we are going backwards due in part to a lack of experienced?

What standard of manager do we seriously expect to attract when we are so rigid with transfers?

What happened to the money from the Stewart sale? And what will realistically happen with the money from future sales?

Those are just a few and I’m sure people have a lot more questions. My mate is so unsure that we have learnt anything from this season that he is not willing to renew until we know who the manager is. We’ve had a season card together for about 12 years I think and I don’t blame him.

Anyway this isn’t really relevant to the match thread so apologies in advance.

Is today's result for Speakman like Lee Johnson's 6-0 at Bolton?

I’ve said from the start a proper experienced CDM should have been our priority, more so than a striker.

Ekwah’s decline in form has been incredible. Watching him swan around leaving Dan Neil to mark 2 players was absolutely infuriating today.

I'm very much hoping that will look back on this season and realise it was all mitigated in the overall 'plan'.
The Mowbray/ Beale decisions though do leave me fearing that's all bluff.

He can’t play as a 2, he was back to his best on Friday as a 3. So what does Dodds do the next game? Puts him back in a 2 with Neil :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

For me I started having major doubts after seemingly caving to fan pressure last summer and not replacing Mowbray. Even if I disagreed with replacing Mowbray at the time he should've had the conviction and belief that he was making the correct decision. As soon as the reports of Farioli were out there the Mowbray era was effectively done.

That today was completely and utterly embarrassing. Not going to go on and on no excuses for that performance what so ever. Wish that had of been the final game for this season.

I'm always, or mostly supportive of players, staff, owners etc.
But questions always need to be asked.
I supported Moyes long after I should and never liked him.
Wasn't keen on Parkinson or Larry Grayson.
I wasn't jumping up and down over Mowbrays appointment, (although happy with it) But the sacking and Beale appointment had me thinking wtf,,,???

Last year was above my expectations finishing in the playoffs. So for that I wasn't too disappointed at getting knocked out.
This year started brightly and has ended up a car crash, nah, a fooking pile up.

And at this moment in time I'm questioning Speakman.
I'm not asking for him to be sacked. Yet, but something has gone seriously wrong and the buck stops with him.

He's either been right to sack Mowbray for whatever reason, made a mistake with Beale and in the process of putting it right. (Hopefully)

Or he sacked Mowbray because of his ego, fooked up bringing Beale in and then possibly fooks up again bringing a yes man in.

As for supporters and their views.
I'm sorry but just because some are different to yours it doesn't make them less entitled to post.

If you don't agree with them, don't read them or put them on ignore .

I don’t even want to listen to him after that farce of a match. Tactically absolutely ****e and out-managed by a team who hadn’t won in 10 games. Then when he decides to change things it’s 3 like for like players and no change in setup.

To top it off he needlessly risks Clarke when the game was already lost.
