They have won 1 game in 18. We have been beat 5-1 man. What is it going to take for you to see what's happening instead of shouting at me ?

 

Either Speakman has no money to spend which would mean he's actually doing an alright job OR he has had plenty money to spend and he's doing a poor job, it's one or the other.

Spend always needs to be compared to other teams within the league in similar situations to us. Pointless comparing us to any team receiving parachute payments, which is Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, Norwich and Watford and pointless comparing us to any team who have made huge player sales such as Coventry and a couple others. Out of the rest, we have spent more than anyone other than Stoke, who have sacked the people responsible for their spending.

I'd be looking to replace Speakman because the results based on money spent are poor.

I know we don't have a striker, and that has been well documented, but our defence doesn't keep enough clean sheets and looks hapless. The defence badly needs strengthening in the summer too.

God forbid any team can have players like Batth, Pritch, Gooch and Evans, who all played a major part in our success last season but are over 25.

Styles has looked ok going forward but vulnerable at the back. Still in the same position and being overrun. All they’ve done is out battle us in midfield then get forward and know they’ll not get tracked by players who don’t have the inclination.

Conceding five goals to anyone in this league is unacceptable, especially at home. Even worse still, this Blackburn side is atrocious.
