Yeah - anyone that watches footie should know how hit and miss predictions are. Some games that ought to be easy aren't and the reverse holds true. At this stage anything can happen, so we should just get behind our team and enjoy the ride.
Don’t know how to explain it It’s just my opinion though mate - just how I see it I will be cheering us on all the way I know I am a bit pessimistic but that’s just me - but I do feel our games are tougher You don’t and that’s cool I think the only way I can explain how I do think some teams raise themselves would be the season Leicester won the league in particular the Chelsea V Tottenham game toward the end of the season In football in my opinion it’s easier to be destructive over constructive That game Chelsea were determined not to let Tottenham win Way more than any team that Leicester faced we see it every year in the Derby as I say I don’t know how to articulate it but it’s there Spurs will go for Arsenal in a way none of the others will I would imagine Utd will be desperate to take something off us and kill our title hopes - the crowd will be right up for it too in a way that I doubt they will be against Arsenal there was the season under Rodger’s I think When Everton played City and took the lead - the fans were genuinely sort of muted in celebration because they knew what it meant to the title race (game where the keeper sat down and conceded) but at the end of the day it’s just my opinion - that’s all
I agree but I also think anyone who watches footie would know that there are some rivalries where the teams raise their game we shall see As ever I hope to be utterly wrong in my line of thinking
True, but there are still times when we can beat Man U 7-0 or 5-0, despite their desire to thwart us. Or lose 3-4 when we're in a much better place than they. As I said, no prediction is safe, and they're basically just guesswork or wishful thinking. Or in your case, abject fear.
Everton posted loss of £89m for last year. 6th successive year of losses and double the 44.7m loss from season before. Given allowed £105m over 3 year period, can see why they’re being charged yet again and should get another point deduction. Just last 2 years will be £130m loss before even add in the 3rd of those rolling years. No doubt they’ll release a shocked statement when they get charged again though. Club is being run as an absolute mess. How do you lose that much money every year when you get given so much from tv etc
depends what the losses are. in the end if we ignore rules thst allow a once off -105mil over 3 years then we return to what can only be described as normal business rules. everton, and really no football club is an amazon of the 1990s or a twitter of the 2000s. owners or investors are not putting cash in to get a return some time. they are doing so to get ego boosts and recognition. running loss after loss after loss is not sustainable and inevitably they end up sopf off and plummeting.

Still a long way to go and very little margin for error because if we f-up there are two teams waiting to steal our spot... But for the first time this season I'm willing to say we might just be favourites. Probably about a 40% chance at a title to City and Arsenal's 30% chance each.
it will only take one draw to lose this on gd right now so it's 9 games to glory as houllier would say or 9 games to nothing.
Apparently, UEFA are considering scrapping penalty shootouts and games would be decided by xG instead.
