A below par Leeds side had to come from behind twice to grab a share of the spoils, but lost top spot to Ipswich Town as a result. Nevertheless, three points will be expected, against a Hull City side with no wins in five, including a surprise 2-0 home defeat last against Stoke City last time out! Liam Rosenior's side still have promotion desires of their own, and are only six points shy off a play off place; but with just seven games left, they must start turning draws into wins. please log in to view this image 72 hours doesn't give Daniel Farke's side much recovery time, so we can expect to see Wilfred Gnonto, Conor Roberts and Ilia Gruev remain sidelined, alongside long term absentee's Pascal Struijk and Stuart Dallas. It will be hoped that Ethan Ampadu will start alongside Joe Rodon in central defence, and Sam Byram switches to right back (where he looks a lot more comfortable. This will allow Archie Gray to operate in midfield, where he is best. The visitors will be without Jacob Greaves (suspended) and Liam Delap (knee). 38yo Billy Sharp is likely to be among their substitutes.
Pains me to say this but I can only see a comfortable 2-0 or 3-0 win for you in this one. You don't concede at home and we have forgotten how to shoot. I could go on about how we won't cope with the pace of Summerville and Greaves and Delap are big misses for us as well. Whatever happens I think you and Ipswich will now take top 2 as Leicester are bottling it big style. Enjoy the PL and hopefully see you in a couple of years - one way or another!
On paper this is a walkover. So I’m predicting hitting the woodwork 8 times and losing 0-1 to a 98th minute deflected half shot/half pass
Pointless trying to predict any games from here on. Lower teams fighting for their lives while higher teams a bag of nerves with the pressure. Any remaining games can swing anyway
A win any win will do. Hopefully the rumours of Gruev returning are true. Think Greaves will be a big miss for them, looked very good when I watched them against Leicester the other week, they played very well that day, so they are capable of a big performance but hopefully their poor run of results continues, at least until they play Ipswich anyway.
Farke has to mix it up and not let his heart rule his brain, the next two weeks shall be critical. Team for me …………… ..Meslier……………… Byram….Rodon…Ampadu….Firpo …….Gray………….Kamara……. ……………..Rutter…….. James……Joseph…….Summerville Don’t want to see Cooper again in the team, if he does then the kraut will be in question with me !!!
