Nothing, he’s ****ing ****. everyone wants him to be good because of his price tag so people are being kind to him. But he is utter garbage. Positionally bad, doesn’t track back, poor passing, terrible decision making, just all in all a huge disappointment just like all our other record signings. Should have just kept Nathan Redmond tbh, offered far more than this fraud. Sad part is Sulemana has the raw pace and skills to be a very good player but his attitude and mindset are terrible
This was driving me potty. It happened so much. You're right, anything but a win at Ipswich and it's done.
Some slightly harsh criticism of Sulemana on here! We didn't win because we only scored one and failed to keep a clean sheet. While he was on we had chances to score at least 4 - and we didn't concede. The blame for the defeat goes almost entirely to Che, who never even looked like soring some of the most clear-cut chances you will ever see.
Yeah, very harsh. He was one of our most dangerous threats yesterday (in the first half), and they were doubling up on him. His final ball does often frustrate, but he takes extra players out of the game which seems to go unnoticed on here. That creates space. He has been disappointing, and he is frustrating. But he's nowhere near as bad as some on here make out.
Thats' a shame then. I've always thought Saints Stewards were pretty chilled Maybe you should send a complaint to the club about over-zealous security?
My frustration with Sulemana is that he is quick but rarely takes his full back on in a foot race down the line, which infuriates me when he is one on one. Several times yesterday he allowed himself to be doubled up on instead of just having a go. I don’t think, yesterday, that we created enough triangle situations that we have used very effectively in other games to get to the bye line. Maybe that’s the difference between having Bree instead of Manning at LB, because Manning is more adventurous and helps create those triangles with Stuart and the LW.
I lost count of the amount of times he slowed down the play to wait for Middlesbrough to get settled and the second man come out to him. He’s in the team to take players on and use his pace and he just kept turning that option down to make a 5 yard square pass. He did a few good things early but that was it. I’m not making him a scapegoat, I’ve not once said he’s the reason we lost or said that he was our worst player or anything like that, he just frustrates the hell out of me. When that position is also our strongest position on the pitch AND all our other options are better, it really highlights to me when he’s not producing. Yesterday particularly given Middlesbrough were flooding the middle, we needed him to take on his man, not slow the play down, that’s what half the rest of the team do.
Is "Nothing, he’s ****ing ****" criticism, or just abuse? I understand its more common on SaintsWeb and should stay there That's my polite response
22 million quid. More Red cards than goals 3 whole assists. Yep, a real baller as the kids would say. He's been cut a load more slack on here than players half his price. He's ****ing rubbish and another indicator of just how poor SR have been in the transfer market.
Let's be honest, for £20m and a club record signing, you would expect a lot more from him than hes offered so far, partciuarly in this league. He just doesn't stand out at all.
As I said the problem wasn't with the Stadium stewards (hi-viz guys), it was the Security squad (pseudo Police attire) that were rocking the boat.
I agree he's not (yet) lived up to expectations (and the price tag isn't his fault). I was hoping for way more this season. Way more. But there's not just two options - good and ****ing **** - (which may surprise some people on here). He's only just turned 22. He's still a kid. He has raw potential (though not as much as we might have hoped, sure) and has a lot to learn. I'd rather Fraser played. I'd just about rather Edozie played (though that one is a bit of a coin toss). But I'm not going to sit here and call him a fraud, or ****ing useless. Because he's also neither of those things.
I feel that he is like Diallo. Loads of potential but perhaps he won't ever deliver. If we don;t go up, I feel he is one we will cash in on.
