I wouldn’t say failure just yet because we still have a chance of Europe which seemed an outside shot after Kane’s departure but the first ten or so games are looking more like a new manager bounce than what we should be expecting/ hoping to see. Villa aside the football’s been so poor for months now.
It could be worse, in that those that are not playing in place of those you deem favourites, are showing in training they are even more sloppy in passing + lazy in harrying or making themselves available for a pass.
I guess if Spurs finish top 6 then you have to say it’s job done for his first season but instead of it looking like they’re getting used to his tactics, it’s going the opposite way and the more they play under him the weaker they look under his management
Lots of players slipping (mainly us) so wonder if they have the right sort of boots on....and none of our subs are on the pitch warming up so guess no ht subs happening from us Edit Johnson and Davies and Richarlison now warming up
Yeah as CK has been saying for weeks, Bissouma needs dropping at the moment. Kulu needs time on the bench too, no idea why Johnson, who’s been our most productive wide player the last few weeks is the one dropping to the bench. Kulu’s current form and Timo Werner as your wide options… I mean seriously what is Ange expecting?
Yep very flat here. Luton compact and controlling the middle for me. We appear to have lost the ability to take a shot but too many players have been way off it....
Werner has a directness that a lot of our players don't - and this is one of those matches where you notice that fact
Beats no end product and poor decision making 15-20 yards farther away from goal Directness means a chance can open up even if luck plays into it, wannabe tiki-taka often gives opponents more time to job back into position
