Mrs W_Y has an intolerance to Dairy, Vegetable Oil and Corn, not as severe as an allergic reaction, but she does feel quite ill if she over consumes. So we do the same and it's amazing how many prepared foods contain these items:- the standard packaged white bread has vegetable oil and milk powder and loads of things like Humous have maize (corn) added to pad them out. One good thing is the availability of good Goats and Ewe's cheese even in our local Tesco - Manchego is a lovely cheese, but our favourite is Ossau Iraty from the Basque region - just a lovely cheese.

Morning all, Typical autumn morning here, a bit misty but not cold. Yesterday as I walked down the green lane to the fields, the hedgerows were covered with spiders webs and the mist had clung to them in small droplets. The light was shining on them and you could see very clearly the amazing structure of the webs.

Right I have to re-stock the cave before this afternoon and Mme will no doubt wish to buy food. As usual on match day you wonder if the better form we have shown recently will produce a good result today. Let's hope that we can start a little run away from home that will take us up the table a bit.

Morning all - freezing cold up here but at least the snow has disappeared.

Am watching Brisbane Roar's attempt to create Oz history by going unbeaten for 36 matches. In their table top clash with Perth, they were 4-0 up at half time - contest over really.

Now, can The 'Orns start a similar run this afternoon - would be nice. :)

Cheers AK - Just walked down to the local Butchers and to get some supplies for breakfast, it's a lovely Autumn morning in bandit country. I see that Sky have stitched up some of the F1 races that the BBC cannot broadcast - you will need to subscribe to the Sky F1 channel.
