RE: Bamford, Cooper and to a higher extent Phillips.... Bielsa made them look great. Funny how we've not had 4 coaches that can't do jack with the first 2 and Phillips is just ****ing appalling with both City and West Ham.
A point being missed is Watford only had 6 on international duty, rest were able to do whatever coach wanted for past two weeks. Farke only had six not away. That has a huge impact, Welsh lads were poorest they’ve been all season. Monday will be more of the same. A tired Leeds squad against a well rested opposition
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68633437 Read what the Hull boss said about the performance and no wins in 5 they have low moral, hopefully we can go top, I don’t see Ipswich taking three points from Southampton
Why ever not, you lot didn't see us being here after January, yet here we are buzz buzz buzz, us ****ing annoying little wasps!!
You do know yourselves very well. I’ll give you that. when are you going to realise you have no right to an auto slot if it prevents proper clubs like us and Leicester getting one.?
It’s called an opinion, a prediction. A few months ago you were on here harping on about the huge gap you had, I predicted we’d close it and your Norwich game would be a catalyst for a mini slump. At least we try and predict results on here, we don’t all start falling to pieces because “Gaffer” starts a match day thread and he’s jinxed the result (you’re quite funny how you fall to pieces over it) I love too how you’re all over here because you’ll be top for 48 hours. You’ll be fortunate to take three points total from your next three games, I don’t actually know if I’d prefer you beating Southampton and making it a three horse race instead of four.
Bamford was in his prime, and made Cooper less crap. Bielsa said himself (at the beginning) his players would have a 3 year shelf life due to his intensive training, yet half of them are still here.
Bamford has never had his prime probably why he could never get a proper permanent transfer till Boro and Dyche hates the guy. Cooper has always been crap IMO i never understood why Celino signed him and how Monk didn't get rid when her brought in Bartley and Pontus.
Cellino bought Cooper as he played well against Leeds during a pre-season friendly when he was playing for Chesterfield. I wouldn't say Cooper has always been crap, and if I'm honest Bielsa made him difficult to play against, improving his positional play, and difficult to get past.
He's always played with heart, gave his all, had some great games, some not so but has been a great servant and hasn't deserved the abuse he's received at times, I'll never slate any player that gives everything he's got and he falls in that bracket.
Football is a tough career. Coops has been a great guy by all accounts, a great captain and for 3 or 4 seasons a very capable Championship defender. His lack of pace has always been his achilles heel and he has got to the stage where he has lost another yard of pace. He has been a great servant and deserves his testimonial. Its tough to say after his dedication to the club but he just isn't at a level where he is reliable anymore. Dennis was always going to be a problem last night for him.
