Phew - thought we'd cave in, but didn't.

    An unexpected point really

We lost the initiative when Denis went off

Hard to pick a man of the match for us - Lewis, Pollock, Bayo, TDB all put in excellent shifts - but Porteous shone the most for me.
Am still not sure what Ince brings to the team though - I think Martins would have done a better job

Yes I think Martins would have been more of an attacking threat

Watching the replay of the incident, Tommy Smith and Jon Marks were right - Asprilla should have had a penalty. He won the ball and the defender stood on his foot

Definitely was an excellent performance for 60 minutes or so before we got tired and they started to dominate.

Summerville was a threat all game .

Think we lost a lot of momentum when Dennis went off - not sure Kone was the answer ( Presumably Georgi wasn’t deemed fit enough ?)

Lewis , Porteous and TDB played very well whilst Bayo had one of his best games .

If I hadn't watched it (TV as I don't go anywhere except Church on Good Friday) I would have heard the result and been pleased. As it was I was delighted that we played with verve and effectiveness , but ultimately disappointed. Scruffy equaliser. Asprilla should have had penalty ,and it looked like an offside in Summerville's otherwise brilliant goal. Sky team fairly biased - they usually favour the higher team. Bu at least we are the team I want to watch.

TC: Proud of the players, adapted to new shape really well and on another day we’d have won. Tired towards the end, had to bring Dennis off as nursing groin problem. Felt the subs were right, maybe do differently in hindsight.

    Anthony Matthews

Watching the Hornets walk around the pitch receiving a thoroughly deserved ovation. Had to increasingly show the other side of the game in the second half but were resilient and really dug in when needed. So many positives to take from a really uplifting night

He was a bit critical of ED for going off. TD9 would have ploughed on obvs. It's true we lost momentum , but his contribution is significant, even for 60 minutes.
Otherwise , positive. Neither TD9 or NP were overly enthusuastic , but they did acknowledge that we outplayed Weeds in first half.
Considering our woeful performance at Elland road -which was really hard to take, being there , this was much much better. I thought Sierralta was immense , steadied the backline.

Was this the worst set of officials so far this season, the ref was conned by Leeds diving all through the game butnour players were completely taken out several times and the ref waved play on

Should Leeds have been down to ten men or doesn't putting your hands up into a players face count when its against Watford and to make it worse he scored the goal and yes we were denied a penalty yet again

Cleverley should have put on some fresh legs on 70 minutes for Bayo and Kayembe they were shot
