It may be my first time on here, but it's not my first time on the internet. I've seen your type before across social media, and I don't like them much.

It's clear from your attitude towards almost everyone that you're a suspicious, aggressive little man who fancies himself as this board's committee man, on here all day laying the law down.

However, it's also clear that anyone who tells you that meets an untimely demise, so I'm not going to bother engaging with you further.

Everyone has been very friendly except you.

I think that’s what holds me back in saying let’s focus on him being a striker now. If he had that explosive pace, Christ hed have some ceiling in the game. Without a doubt the best 9 at the club currently. Him and AA worked really well together today. That second goal was actually real quality, didn’t appreciate it live.

Blip of six games was it ?
    Started under Beale.
If Dodds turns it round now till the end of season then I take my hat off to him.
And he deserves it imo ,
    Seems a decent bloke

Some folks just get pleasure from moaning. They also conveniently forget that when we play well it often makes the other team looks worse.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I just enjoy the win and the good football.

After a deep breath and a few pints after work, looking back on the match, I thought we looked a bit nervy at the start, which was understandable after the run we've been on. But after the penalty, we seemed to grow in confidence and we served to play the type 1 touch football we played last season. There was a bit of play in the second half in the middle of the park that reminded me of the Reading game last year. Jobe gave the type of performance we've missed this season, holding the ball, closing down the defenders a(s well as nicking the ball) it was a performance that could stand them in good stead for the rest of the season. The big question that Dodds might ask himself is can they reproduce that type of performance on Monday. The players who played the majority of that game deserve the chance to answer that - here's hoping they can.

That question is for another day, now is the time to enjoy not just the result but the performance!

It's a shame, imo, that Dodds has taken the flak that's really deserved elsewhere.

He had no real option but to take the caretaker role.

He's just beaten a team, away from home, in a game Cardiff had to win.

The players put in a real shift for him.

The criticism he's been given is excessive imo.

Well said mate, it's not easy to say that when the moaners are so quick to attack people.

That's really not the case, quite a few have labelled you a Mag ...

... it's just easy to label 'Smug' as the horrible man who victimises posters who don't agree with everything he says.

Just have some dignity and give up man.

I thought that international break would be useful for once. Went into it after the draw which stopped the panic in a young team losing a run of games. Rest for Jobe, time for Dodds etc to do some good work with a team in a decent frame of mind. Missed O'Nien too good to have him back. Big character on the pitch and a quality defender.

Bit of honesty back at you mate. I know you can handle it. This is poor form on your behalf. In my opinion of course. I am not sure you are any sort of black sheep at all. If people messaging you about a new poster then they must see you as some sort of shop steward however, and that is mad to think. Poor on their part in my opinion, this should be an open place that allows opinions. We have lost posters recently, which I would rather hadnt happened, last thing a board needs is lads wanting to see off others who might have a different opinion, or who make them unhappy. I dont think you see youself as some sort of not606 gatekeeper, but posts like this make you come across as one in my opinion. We have mods to police folk who breach forum rules, or be disruptive. No offence mate, but we dont need a rogue opinion moderator. Let the poster continue in my opinion.

That's all quite reasonable, and you're a poster I respect, so I'll answer each aspect honestly.

I hope you can accept that, otherwise I'd have to say your mind was already made up and I've just wasted my time.

Yes, 'let the poster continue' in your opinion ...

... unless it's me and my opinion, obviously <doh>

You've obviously put a lot of time into this and want the forum to be exactly how you want it to be.

Perhaps you should avoid dictating what you want and allow other people their opinion.

Sunderland have just won 2-0 away ...

... instead of having a pop at me why not celebrate your team's victory?

Shut up man. Of course Aouchiche can handle a tough away game.

Delighted for the lad today. He’s a player with hell of a lot of quality and it looks like he’s getting to grips with the hustle and bustle of the championship. Seems like a good character as well.
