The issue is that we don’t have a ****ing clue how to break teams down and create chances.

But that's what you've got to do at this level. You need to sell to buy and flesh the squad out and it takes time. We had years of no investment and it's only our third year back at this level

I disagree... I dont think this manager would know how to supply a striker... we dont get to the bi-line, out crossing is awful..

 

Delap papers over the cracks because he’s capable of creating chances out of nothing. How many of his goals are tap ins?

Norwich - defensive error he finished well.
Leicester - Goal from outside the area.
Southampton - tap in but from a lucky deflection.
Brum - Defensive error.
Huddersfield - good finish from a fair distance.
Boro - set piece tap in.
Blackburn - individual solo goal.

Delap suits us perfectly because of his ability outside of being a striker, not because of his ability in the penalty area.
