Imo under Nige, we would have sat back after scoring and lost that game..
I agree that he needs to find a formula against poorer opposition but also should be allowed time and to bring in some of his own signings before judging if he’s any good or not..

Maybe he’s just busy getting pissed, or whatever he does to enjoy a win

As a few of us has said, he should be allowed time and maybe some of his own signings

Who knows what we’d have done under Nige, quite possibly we’d have more points by now, so a win today wouldn’t have been so important, when the team play to our strengths, as we did today we’re fine. We don’t do that often enough under Manning, if he learns that from today and other games, that would be worth a whole lot more than the 3 points we won today. I hope he does.

It’s not a fluke that we beat the likes of Leicester & Southampton..
Don’t you remember the Stoke game when we were 2 up and then sat and lost 3-2? We needed points then if we were looking to get in playoffs..

Wow up in Leeds this weekend -just seen the result fantastic-just gone into an area where I have WiFi watched the highlights on sky sports
    Mehmeti what a scorcher.
    Max saved us three times.
    Vardy missing those chances <doh>
Think we’re safe did not see that result as did 90% of the fanbase.
Looks like we were lucky but I will take that.

Nobody has said LM is the lord and saviour, that title was reserved for Nige, by his luvee crew on here

yes they play tonight at Watford they will win that and go top

Leeds are top on joint points with Leicester as it stands win tonight they go three points clear.

however if Ipswich win at Blackburn tonight and Leeds lose Ipswich go top.

I didn’t necessarily see a win - even though I put a win down in the Quadrans thread on here, but I never thought we’d get a mauling, as you did, as I suspect 90% of fans didn’t either

Most of those clearly don’t understand the games where we are likely to do better with LM in charge. We haven’t been beaten by 3 goals by any of the top sides since he took over that I can remember?

I hope you’re right because that’s probably how it’s going to pan out. I’ve not seen anywhere near enough from him to share your confidence

But you did under Nige this season? Forget the sideshow of him allegedly sorting out the finances, what did you see in 3 years that gave you hope on the pitch? I didn’t see enough, especially given his experience.

<doh> 2 years was keeping us mid table whilst “this side show” as you call it meant often we were fielding up to 5 academy players, 2,of which we subsequently sold for £35m, the 3rd year he wasn’t allowed to use any of the money he generated, rather we kept a “nest egg”. But still had a better record than LM to date who’s had none of those those restrictions. If you chose to ignore the facts, that’s your prerogative, you are entitled to your opinion.

Again, you dodge the question about on the field this season under Nige, with all those restrictions in the past.

Nige did have money to spend in the summer, Knight & McCrorie cost £2m each. You, and others make it sound like he had zero to spend, which just isn’t true.
