Excellent that. Enjoyed it. Adil, Rigg, Jobe excellent. Ekwah having a busy game as well, covering some ground. Neil like the quarter back pulling the strings. Very good. Jobe, on todays showing, might be the answer to our striker problems. His run for the second goal was a strikers run. He has made 2 or 3 really good runs into the channels as well and has held it up. MOM so far for me, class.
Even a small resurrection of our season at this point would be great. I’m not saying Jobe is the messiah but he’s looking pretty good up front and that was some cracking play for his goal. just hope we can power on through this half and not have egg on our faces.
Jobe's tenacity to go and win the ball set up the big Rigg chance too. I don't have the foresight to see what position Jobe might best develop into but it's clear to me that he's a talented boy and 7 goals this season shows that he has an instinct for finishing.
Annoys me the amount of flak the lad gets. People forget he’s 18 and learning his trade. He’ll have a great career and will only get better
I might be overemphasising its importance but I think it’s massive for us to finish the season in the top half rather than towards the bottom. It just looks like a more stable club to potential new signings, and even to internal contracts like Rigg. We can genuinely position ourselves as “going for promotion” next season, whereas if we finish 15th, it would seem a bit of a stretch.
Enjoyed that lots of energy in the team. And actually showing a bit of quality today. Disappointed we haven't put the game to bed but as long as Cardiff don't realise all they have to do is lump it into the box I think we will be OK.
Amazing what a week off has done for Jobe. Absolutely criminal that the only way he can ever get that is when it's enforced by an international break...
Cardiff have been playing very well and winning more games than top 6 teams ... ... cue, if Sunderland win, posts of 'Cardiff were the worst team I've seen this season'
