Alien invasion imminent (OT)

Just to release our minds from the current "Tiote out, Rooney in, Perch possibly playing" saga, lets all have a look at this video.

I'm not really a big believer in Aliens, even though I find it impossible to believe that there's no other life in the universe, but I do find UFO sightings and big mysteries like this very intriguing. There have been a lot of massive UFO sightings recently, and I love to wonder what they could be.

The theory that I personally find most attractive is that it's the government/military testing new technology/weapons, and they are happy to let us assume it's Aliens if we happen to spot them when they're testing the new technology, as we aren't supposed to know what it is yet.

Imagine what it must have been like for people years ago who didn't know what a stealth bomber was? They would have shat themselves if they saw one, and could have just assumed it was some alien vessel.

I must admit the one that started swirling scared the **** out of me, and if I saw it outside my bedroom window I'd possibly think for minute it was a black hole or something haha

I always find Alien encounters pretty interesting, not really the fact that they could be real but more of the often pretty funny explenations behind them.

 

There were reports of people hearing alien-like screeches in Newcastle one night but it just turned out to be HMT the first time a lass touched his todger.

The phone call was a fake ( ****ing great though ), but i do find some of the sightings and Area 51 fascinating.

That cracked me up when someone said it on the video. Good thread though Tash. I think most can be explained away as military testing, hoaxes, pyrotechnics (Chinese lanterns account for a lot of sightings) and meteorological stuff like weird cloud formations and auroras.

I believe there's other intelligent life out there, there'd certainly be forms of life such as bacteria and maybe plant life. I don't buy into alien spacecraft though. The technology would have to be far more advanced than I think is possible, and why would life forms travel across galaxies, hover around unseen, and then just abduct and anally probe a few life forms far less intelligent than themselves? I just don't buy into it or think it's possible.

 

The film 'Signs' made me paranoid about aliens for weeks. Especially this bit..

It doesn't seem that scary but the first time I watched it when I was little it was terrifying

 

This, really. It'd be foolish to believe we're the only form of life in the universe. But I dunno, the idea of little green men coming to the Earth to have a gander at us is laughable. Other life = yes. 'Aliens' = no.

Planet of the apes? Most definitely.

 

I have a feeling that they could be watching us. We like to study animals and less intelligent beings, Aliens may choose to study us.

But I don't buy the abducting and the anal probing ****e.

What sort of intelligent species would have the technology to travel across galaxies, arrive near our planet, cloak itself so we couldn't see it, then leave massive crop circles and allow the humans that they've "abducted", to remember what they experienced and set them free to tell the tale?

Either they're still far away and haven't discovered us, or they are watching us now and remain hidden. I don't buy the abduction ****.

 

I don't know what to believe.

What I do believe is that there's a lot of big stuff us commoners don't know about and probably better off not knowing about.

 

I could be an Alien for all you know...
