Cardiff was 3-0 and Rotherham 4-1. But to be honest, even the Rotherham and Sheff Wednesday games were let offs to an extent. Rotherham we drew the second half despite battering them, and Wednesday somehow only lost by two in the end.

I think this is a really important point and perhaps one of the reasons why we haven’t won as many games at home.

Where we differ, is the reason for it. I believe the crowd enthusiasm is down to intent from the football being played. Our system this season has been to dominate the game (in terms of possession, which in theory leads to having more chances than the opposition) whereas what actually gets the crowd going is to have a higher number of chances (regardless of how many the opposition have).

We are playing percentages rather than totals. I believe with the players we have, we should have been braver and gone for totals, which would have seen more goals and in turn, got the crowd going more. Of course there’s no way to prove if we would have been better off, but I believe we would have been.

I’m still happy with where we are and the job Rosenior has done, but I think lack of crowd noise is down to his possession system (and passing backwards more often than necessary).

To finish my point, I believe possession system should be played against higher quality opposition (to starve them of the ball) and a braver approach against the lower teams.

I said early in the season, my worry was that we would draw too many games we should have won. That is now looking likely.

Let’s be brave for these final run of games now. Starting today. This really is a must-win if we are to keep up with the teams around us. UTT.

    That's City in a nutshell....
Win at top-of the table Sheff Utd on the Tuesday night, lose at home to middle-of-the-table, nothing much to play for Oxford United on the Saturday. They'll put that on City's epitaph.

So, this is it. The start of the Third Act. The big one. The part where the action, the storyline, and the loose ends all come together and get tied up in a neat little bow. Now is the time to go on a march.
Let's really get behind the team today and ****ing smash 'em! UTT.

Genuinely nervous about today....feels like a must win with Norwichs form, and given how rank they've been it should be comfortable, which normally ends with typical city......
