why only need to allow a few things to swing a game. they don't need to pull Reds or give pens.

they just need to ignore time wasting or ball being.moved or just throw a few cheap frees their way.

city will be happy with a draw so they only need a little bit of favouritism or a few oh that's a matter of opinion calls.

they don't need another Webb apology to get where they need to get to

I don't think Coote is biased - just even more incompetent than most.

There's a reason they named the Cooter after him!

    Kelleher
Bradely Quansah VVD Gomez (konate was not in training yesterday)
Szoboszlai Endo Macca (no jones yet either)
Salah Nunez diaz (nunez was in training)

It looks like trent is not back yet. Jota might be back before him. Jones is supposed to be close now and robertson is hopeful he will be back during next week.

Gakpo, gravenberch, elliott, Tsimikas, adrian all on the bench and mayeb konate too. 2 or 3 kids then.

CHRIS SUTTON'S PREDICTION: COMFORTABLE HOME WIN,

    Liverpool v Brighton (14:00 BST)
There is talk about Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi possibly being the next Liverpool manager when Jurgen Klopp leaves in the summer but this is not really an audition for the the job because the Reds' new sporting director Richard Hughes is supposedly a big fan of his anyway.

Regardless of where that subplot goes, the Seagulls will definitely fancy their chances on Sunday.

Brighton have been a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool recently, especially at Anfield where they have not been beaten since 2019.

I can see why this has been such a dangerous fixture for Liverpool because of the way that Brighton play, but if the Reds are anywhere near their best then I still think they will win this time.

They have to really. If they want to win the title, they have to win games like this.

There might be a bit of anger from Liverpool after the way they lost to Manchester United in the FA Cup last time out, and that might help.

Mohamed Salah was not at his best in that game, but he has had a couple of weeks to get his fitness levels up and he could make the difference here.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-1

Bionic's prediction: This will be quite straightforward for Liverpool. 2-0

we need a big perofrmance and a bit of luck.

Brighton have a lot of draws this season. They've fight in them so the very worst thing for us is seeing our team get a lead and then try "manage it"

We have not beaten Brighton in the last four matches both home and away. Difficult game.

yes it is but last year was last year, we had absolutely no drive.

This seaosn at thier shed we went behind after a poor slow start then scored 2 and led and did exactly the same thing. sat off and tired to play it out and failed and were luckly to get the point at 2-2

My view her eis they really miss mitoma and march and have have milner, pedro out as well and ferguson is on a drought.

We need to go well at it and keep the intensity unitl the game is won won. Not try see it out.

first goal might be crucial but anfield will be crucial too.

JONES' KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR COMFORTABLE HOME WIN.

Liverpool vs Brighton, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports - PLAY SUPER 6 TO WIN £1,000,000!

Football is all about timing, isn't it? And the Liverpool job just might be available at the wrong time for Roberto De Zerbi, whose stock is dropping.

I'd just love to see someone of De Zerbi's maverick nature get given a chance at a club like Liverpool as I'd like to think it's a style that would only thrive if he had better quality players to teach it to. He'll want to showcase what his teams can do at Anfield - that could lead to a bonkers match against Liverpool's deadly attack.

De Zerbi has faced Klopp four times and never lost though - his football does tend to cause Liverpool problems.

Brighton have scored 10 goals in those four meetings and registered 24 shots on target.
Although I'm not brave enough to trust Brighton to get a result just down to their lack of current ruthlessness in their attack, I do think De Zerbi's style will lead to them finding lots of situations down the flanks in behind the Liverpool full-backs. I'm liking the look of Simon Adingra's shot on target prices for Brighton, where we can get 4/5 with Sky Bet for one or more.

The Brighton recruitment wizzes have done it again with this guy - he cost just £6m two years ago and is developing at a rapid rate this season. He's had 25 shots in his last nine starts and nine of those hit the target. He scored and had two shots on target in the reverse fixture at the Amex, again showcasing how influential the wide forwards are likely to be in this game for Brighton.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 4-2

They’re all big games now, but today is so important with the other 2 playing each other.

Would be great to have a convincing win and then relax and watch the refs rob Arsenal

    team is 100% as expected.

stupid ****ing French ****s knackered konate. at least he can bench warm though. I'd have preferred them to play him in the first game and bench him so he could start here then rest v sheff utd.

Clark, McConnell and danns as the kids on bench.

below from Klopp. Sounds like she could have played if needed but with sheff United mid week wasn’t worth risking.

Andy got cleared yesterday, was completely normal but we’re not taking any risks as we have another game on Thursday. We need to keep as many players fit as possible through this period."
