I see both Jaden and Morton didn't play last night in the U21's so should be fresh for Friday. I guess Liam's biggest dilemma is whether to play Morton or Slater. I guess he will go with Slater who was excellent against Leicester, and maybe bring on Morton for Seri after 60 minutes.
Just my opinion, but over the last few months I don't think Morton has looked the same player as he did before Christmas, so I wouldn't be against Slater starting instead. I'd like to see Seri do a full 90 minutes too, as we seem to drift apart after he's taken off.
There’s only 3 singles left, unless they’re grabbing a further allocation. A **** initial allocation mind.
I think Morton v Slater is the only decision to be made as I expect Macca to come in at CB. An argument could be made for both but I'd go with Morton

I’m baffled they’re so high up in the table after seeing them twice this season. Just goes to show if you have a solid team with decent work rate throughout then you can make a push for play offs in this league. Everyone is beatable from 5th downwards in this league you’d think.' Says City are 'bang average' in one breath, then suggests we're 'fairly solid' in the next ..Not the sharpish tool in the box. Typical rose tinted glasses, I suspect. Two below this one says, 'apart from Leicester we've been the best side at theres this season...' All in all a tricky game tomorrow. Might just scratch out a 1-0.
Typical football fan opinion of an opposition side they know little about. I'd say similar about the likes of WBA and Preston, but it's probably my own ignorance. Obviously I'm biased but it always feels like people are more ignorant of us than other clubs. Whatever squad we have, whatever football we play and whatever success we have always seems to go under people's radar and we tend to be appraised as just little old Hull, who must be overachieving to even be in the top half. Again, I'm biased, but watching us all season I really do think we're a very good footballing side. And again it's a football fan cliche to think that you're just one little factor short of being much more successful, but that really particularly does seem to be the case with us this season.
Head coach Liam Rosenior says international duo Jean Michaël Seri and Abdüş Ömür will be assessed for the visit of Stoke City on Good Friday. The midfielders have been away with their respective countries - Seri starting both games for the Ivory Coast against Benin and Uruguay, with Abdüş featuring for 12 minutes in Türkiye’s friendly against Austria after being unused against Hungary. “‘Mika’ is not back until Thursday,” confirmed Rosenior in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday. “We will assess him because of the travel, same with Abdüş who played late Tuesday night. They are the only two that didn’t train on Wednesday and we are fully fit ready to go, apart from Liam Delap. “We’re looking to early to mid-April for Liam, so it is still a couple of weeks. Hopefully, when he is back with us from Manchester City, he will be fully fit, ready to train and make an impact and make his point on the squad.” Focusing on the other internationals, Jaden Philogene and Tyler Morton came back from England Under-21 duty all clear, the pair training all day on Wednesday having been unused substitutes in the previous day's 7-0 thrashing of Luxembourg at Bolton Wanderers’ Toughsheet Community Stadium. Noah Ohio played a combined 90 minutes for the Netherlands' Under-21s, featuring in both games against Norway and Moldova, registering an assist against the latter. “It was brilliant for Noah to get minutes. He was training on Wednesday and the feeling was good,” said Rosenior. “It would have been great for him to come on the trip and bonded with the players, but for him to get the minutes he got, it always gives you confidence. Holland U21s is a great level, the same with the England U21s players. Coming back, he looks really good and we will make a decision on what we do with the team on Thursday. “With both Jaden and Tyler not playing for England U21s in their second game, it allowed them to fully train on Wednesday, which is great. “It is good to have them back two days before a game as they are both outstanding players and they are going to be really important to us in this race. The fact they have both come through unscathed is a real plus point.” Confirming there are no new injuries to his squad, the Tigers will be without influential defender Jacob Greaves after he received a two-match ban for picking up his 10th yellow card in our last competitive fixture against Leicester City. With a number of players getting vital minutes in the mid-season friendly against Çuracao, Rosenior says the position is up for grabs, as well as providing an update on forward Aaron Connolly. “It’s an opportunity for someone else. I have ‘Macca’ (Sean McLoughlin), who will fit being a natural left-footed centre-half. I have Cyrus (Christie), who is training really, really well who can play centre-back. Matty Jacob who can play left-back or centre-back. They are all fighting for positions and it is up to me to make the right choice,” revealed Rosenior. “Aaron is getting better with every session and he needs them. Through no fault of his own, he picked up a horrendous injury and hopefully he can get back to the Aaron Connolly we know as if he does that, we have a real talent on our hands.”

I wonder whether Seri will be on the bench tomorrow with him only being back in the country today. Presumably leaves very little chance for him to work on the game plan as well as whatever physical concerns there may be from the travelling.
It actually says "Duirt me leat go raibh me breoite". They would not put W C Fields wish on his gravestone. “On the whole, I’d rather be in Philadelphia.” It was the carefully considered on the whole…that I liked.
