Two of Liverpool’s Premier League matches in late April have been rescheduled and a new date has now been confirmed for the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Updated fixture details are listed below (kick-off times BST):

    • Everton v Liverpool: Wednesday April 24 (8pm) – live on Sky Sports
    • West Ham United v Liverpool: Saturday April 27 (12.30pm) – live on TNT Sports*
*Please note, in the event of Arsenal having a Champions League home fixture on Tuesday April 30, this match will be rescheduled.

    huh? am I missing something?
How will an Arsenal home fixture in the champions league 3 days after the West Ham v Liverpool game affect things? If it were at the same time, maybe yeah, cos of lack of police etc but I dont really get it as it stands

My assumption is that it’s spurs v arsenal on the Sunday. Which means if arsenal play on the Tuesday they can’t play on the Sunday before and will be moved to Saturday. Sky prob struck up a deal with TNT they they’ll take the 12:30 slot in that case. So Liverpool West Ham may then move to the Sunday slot instead.

Make sense, but it specifically says if they have a Home fixture, so if its an away fixture its fine?

Can only assume if it’s away they’ll be playing on the Wednesday so playing Sunday Wednesday is ok.

Any messing about with fixtures is always down to TV programming. The last fixture I can remember that was moved for another reason was our game v utd when their fans protested outside the ground.

What are people's thoughts on Rubiales possibly facing two and a half years in prison for that kiss?

Seems a bit overkill. Does seem a bit creepy though - maybe what would be more helpful would be making him attend some courses on what is and isn’t acceptable behaviour

Given far more serious sexual assults get 0 or don't have the proof it would seem utterly contrary to logic and will probably set back any sort of progress made to get sexual crimes more reprotable and more prosacutable.

I'd be interested in seeing the rape conviction numbers for spain in general and see if this is just a stunt.

Crazy. Unless there's more to it than we're told.

I don't think he should have kissed her on the mouth. Watching the video back, it's not a lingering moment, very quick and on to congratulating the next player. I also checked out her initial comment which was along the lines of - it was a heat of the moment, overcome with joy natural reaction. I think she also said that she didn't like it which is understandable too.

I don't know how long it took her to go from that position to reporting him for harassment (or whatever she claimed). Maybe someone got to her and pushed her along a route she was reluctant to take.

Two and a half years seems extremely excessive but I can't think of a suitable punishment that fits the crime.

Like I said, unless there's more to it, I think it's crazy.
It was inappropriate yes - but it was a rash move, in public, it's not as though he tried to force himself on her in the changing rooms or anything. It's stupid rather than sinister, imo.
Like Bisc said, an educational course on acceptable behaviour is surely enough? A statement that such behaviour won't be tolerated.
The sentence is more appropriate for one of sexual assault, and to make out that this is what it was is an insult to the victims of genuine sexual assault, I think.

I see Larry Lloyd has died, aged 75. For those too young to know, played for us and Forest when they were big in the 70's.
    RIP.<rose>

if arsenal make it through and have to play on the Tuesday then their game.must move to Saturday.

as a result the fuzz won't police our game in London on the same day.

    come on arsenal!!!

    who knows.

there's so much wild speculation about it I've ignored it all.

nobody will know until the season is done.

Got to applaud him for his loyalty and wanting to learn the ropes before going bigger
