The season hasn't gone well but it's not over yet. The repeated criticism of the manager over things out of his control has been tiresome and repetitive for months. Let's be honest here, the initial injuries at the start of the season had nothing to do with the manager, the training methods or anything else. A lot of them were impact injuries picked up on the pitch. Pope, Burn, Botman, Anderson, Krafth, Targett and Murphy were all due to fouls in game. Tonali suspension was nothing to do with Howe either or Barnes's broken toe. Isak was injured on Sweden duty too. If we take out Pope's injury due to that being later in the season it still meant we were 9 short in a 25 man squad. Meaning 16 senior players had to play months of 3 game weeks. Bare in mind out of those 16 some of the choices are Dubravka/Karius/Gillespie and then add Ritchie, Dummett. We then have a perma injured Wilson, and Bruno who always toes the line for suspension. It's no wonder he's had to rush players back and hope for the best. Has he made mistakes? Course he has, but it's only hindsight that tells us this......A good few results could have gone our way and were within minutes of doing so. Some on here blast the man for sticking to 4-3-3 but he hardly has much choice to change it..... 4-4-2 - Needs 2 fit strikers, doesn't happen often and means no sub. 4-2-3-1 - Needs a number 10 - We don't have one and the one we have is a youngster that was crocked anyway. 5-3-2 - Needs 3 quality Centre backs - We have Lascelles starting every week. 5-4-1 - Needs wingers who can cross a ball - Seriously? Can you imagine Miggy???????? So all the FIFA and Footy Manager nerds need to have a reality check. Likewise the blame for transfers - Nobody knows for certain what the hell has happened here. We're still another 3 or 4 windows away I feel. My major issue is the whole over expectant Newcastle fan image we have, and the ones that have it don't even go to the bloody games
It is a laugh mate and this is my point there's two sides to the issue and your side is as guilty as any other. I've been on the end of more than my fair share of cult pursuits and yes at times it gets a too much, but most the time it's all good. I hope you're OK fella you're a good lad...stay active.
And then there's the amount he's lost in sweat due to his Mrs not letting him eat the easter eggs too early
The thing is I'm trying to point out is that the people chasing people around calling people this that and the other need to realise they are rather tedious themselves. it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other as far as I can tell anyway with the occasional outburst from either side of the debate(myself included) It's a football forum people do get overly aggressive and personal sometimes which is worse than just saying Howe needs to change things a too often and the signings are poor. Ultimately we all want Newcastle to win and it's just a game.
