I believe 37 years is the minimum he serves before he can apply for parole The Death Penalty should be here for cases like this where there is no doubt about guilt or motive, but hanging is too good for him, unless of course he somehow manages to hang himself in his cell and suffers for a long time

We need to deal with these morons with a sledgehammer approach, time to stop this nonsense and time to stop the deaths by whatever means necessary, they have no respect for human life so I have none for them. I don't even care if they have to build detention centres to confine them to, do it and make their families pay for the keep, those that won't, can't or don't have families, give them a shovel to go plough a field until they've earned their crust as punishment. Harsh but we need to stop this and you'll only do that by speaking and acting in a manner they will understand.
Yep ****'s got out of hand. I still say this is one consequence of a decade of austerity cuts to public and community services and a generation have been abandoned to descend into lawlessness. But we're beyond that now and like you say these ****s need to be dealt with. Detention centres are good, and so is spending their days picking up dogshit in the park supervised by guards with cattle prods to make them do it. I don't know what to do about the parents. Chances are they have other kids so you fine the parents or jail them then who looks after the other kids.

Brilliant journalism by Channel 4 News. This is the slam dunk on the Post Office scandal. They've been caught on tape covering it up. They knew that the subpostmasters' accounts were being altered covertly without them knowing. And they denied it for years. The IT specialist for the Post Office had made the top bods aware of this years ago. Even the top bod at Fujitsu knew about it. And they've been proved to have lied to parliament. And it's all on tape. Put these ****s in jail and pay the subpostmasters the amount they deserve for their lives being wrecked!
Crazy its basically in the open, in front of everyone in public on a mass used rail system. We live in crazy times and unfortunately its all to frequently happening. I'm moving to china folks
I totally agree, put everyone in jail that covered this up, when I actually started to pay attention to the post office story the first thought I had was the money was dropping out somewhere, whether it be digital or real cash. How did no one not work this out (well clearly some had), it's not even rocket science, the financial sector use similar methods where unidentified funds drop in a dummy account (there's probably a proper name for it). Even if it's a glitch it's dropping out somewhere. Any auditor worth his (or her) salt should have worked this out. Problem was I expect some of these postmasters just saw the post office as working for themselves, giving their family a financial security but unless you've worked in some form of finance before you are not going to recognise tell tale signs of problems or how to resolve them, their own natural reaction was to cover it up by paying out their own pocket. I bet there is even people that lost personal money over this that never made it to the court. so the sum will be much bigger than anything reported.
