I suppose the question is, 12 mil, good or bad price?

We seem to have been after him since Bruce first came, I think it was around 8 mil they wanted then and we offered 6. A very good player but it seems to me, looking in from the outside, that both the Sunderland and Necastle squads have a very good team spirit right now, would Zog improve that?

I don't think it's that surprising, didn't we have a bid turned down for him on deadline day? Also Liverpool and Sunderland are also interested apparently.

Don't get me wrong he is a good player but for 12m I dont think so.
I think your right syd, he would disrupt the team spirit. He seems like a player who
thinks he is better than what he actually is.
No thanks. He can stay at Wigan

Well you'd have thought he'd be a little more mature by now but footballers tend to sing from a different hymn sheet. Still a quality player and if Torres is worth 50mil then 12mil seems a bargain. I think maybe Sunderland need him more than we do considering we have Jonas, Ben Arfa, Ireland and Gosling able to play in the same positions.

Wouldn't want him back, good footballer (when he wants to be) but still carries that huge chip on his shoulder. He blows hot and cold for Wigan, could see him pissing people off in the team and £12 Million is a joke for him.

Wasn't he the arrogant twat that carried on texting during a team talk until someone took his phone off him?

Yeah think it was him, don't think he'd last 5 minutes in the dressing room with Nolan and Joey.

To me that speaks volumes about his attitude and think your right, Barton or Nolan would tear a strip off him if they were ever in the same situation.

I've watched him a few times this season and even had him in my fantasy football, and his attitude at Wigan also looks poor and often disappears in games even wanting away a couple of times.
Though Fantasy football is never a brilliant way to rate a player he wa a consistantly low scorer which suggests he doesn't do enough as a team player.

I liked Zog when I first saw him but wouldn't want him back now, and especially at £12m.

I can't see anybody wanting him badly enough to pay £12m for him.

Very good on his day but his attitude isnt what we need. Honestly I'd rather have someone less talented but more commited.

    (Obviously not far less talented)

^ This sums up my views. On his day he's very, very good, but on his off-day he is just pure **** and will disturb our strong team spirit.

Loved having him in the squad but I'm a firm believer in the old adage that you should never go back.
