Seems we have somehow produced a midfield full of generational talents but at the same time have a defence of sunday league part timers.
I know this is going back a bit but I think it still holds true. When England won the world cup, IMO they had only 3 world class players, Banks, Moore and Bobby Charlton. The rest were good but Ramsey knew how to set up the team and get the best out of them. Tonight we have Bellingham, Foden and Rice playing and with Kane and Grealish to come back. If the rest were so hopelessly behind those it might make sense but I think any decent manager would get a good team out of what he's got available.
I just love Foden. He is the complete player for me. Works his ass off. Can pick a pass. Wonderful control. Dribbles for fun.

I don’t think England were very poor. I think we have dominated and made good chances. We are a different side without Kane. What is clear is we do not have any squad depth at the back compared to the top nations.
