Celtic put on a super display last night, attacking almost non stop from start to finish and created endless amount of chances but could only manage to put two of them away. Most good judges of football who know far more than me say that the important thing is to create chances and the real problem is when you are not doing that.

However some yobs amongst the Celtic support decided to show their dis pleasure at the team in the closing minutes. Are they for real? I just cannot understand why people pay good money for season tickets and become angry and hurl abuse because the team isn't dominating the entire 90mins and winning by a barrow-full.
Surely if they had a brain in their head they would know that isn't going to happen every day and hence they should forget about going to Celtic matches and leave the games to those who care and who support Celtic.
We use stewards to watch and control the green brigade lest they happen to say three letters. Wouldn't the stewards be better served tossing these loud mouths out of the Celtic supporting parts of the stadium and confiscate their season books and give them to a charity.
Why do so many of our fans try to do the work of the opposition fans and attempt to unsettle our team.

The thing is we know you can't dominate and score loads of goals in every game...its just when you don't do it in any game

We have been pish all season

How far away from the mighty murderwell are we.....3?

I don't know why we pay 500+ for a season ticket either

Celtic played some great football last night, when Commons was linking play up , should have been 5/6/7 at h/t , think it was more frustration with the fans at the end than abuse. The guy next to me saw Sammy coming on 80 th and said he would call it a day that annoys me more than fans getting nervous due to losing a sloppy goal , think the memories of a game last season when we threw a 2-0 lead away late on came flooding back .

Game should have been killed off wasn't, changes should have been made earlier weren't. play in the last 5 mins was very poor people where given a bit of a scare and righty got a bit annoyed by the play.

The players haven't earned the right for the crowd to have great faith in them this season so they got a bit edgey towards the end that's ****ing life.

I thought the reason we were supporters was we are followers of Celtic. I thought we go to the games to support and help the team.
Roaring abuse at players is hardly helping them. For the clown that thinks spending £500 gives a right to hurl abuse I am sorry the same idiots buy
season tickets every season and every season hurl abuse. Harry Hood is right last night's football was spell bounding, just could not add to the two goals
but the play, the passing and the running off the ball was first class. Imagine huns fans would never see a display like that. For the first time Celtic this season
Celtic have strung a string of results together. Taking all that in consideration you would expect that when the team needed help like the last few minutes last
night, it certainly didn't come from supporters and seemingly at least some are not ashamed of themselves.

If we are going to haul back the evil ones we all need to get together and do our bit.

I too thought we played well last night but not well enough to save Lennon. Surely, he has to go at Christmas to give a new manager time to make changes.

harry, I think you'll find the majority fellow tic fans are behind me. The job has come too soon for Lennon. Bring in a more experienced manager. Even if its as director of football and allow Lennon to run things day to day.

True blue experience doesn't necessary bring better results.
Take Mcleish manager of Hibs, Rangers Birmingham ............Relegation.
Smith tutored by Souness Managed Rangers created the worse most boring Everton team in history..
Big Tony played for Celtic went to England managed two teams, cme back to Celtic and did to Celtic what Walter Smith did to Everton.
England is full of managers and ex Managers who got experience up and down the country and couldn't manage to get their way in a whore house.
What about Joe Royal, McClaren, what about that Pleat idiot. True blue once a bad manager always a bad manager.
What about Roy Keane, did you see any improvement in his performance at Ipswich after his Sunderland experience.

However this post should not be about Neil Lennon, rather the lack of support from some followers. I only hope that this time it, when the manager and players are talking about our "supporters" who abuse our players towards the end of the match won't have the same result tomorrow. Last time bid Dan got pelters and he was sent off and a penalty conceded within 45 secs. It is hard enough to win without our players hoping that they are playing away. It should not be that hard to support the team or else stay at home.

I don't disagree with what you're saying Superhoops. Roy Keane is a bad manager. What makes me laugh is the assumption that great footballers must make the greatest managers when the evidence suggests otherwise. I guess unless we get someone knocking, we're better off sticking with Lennon and giving him a chance, for continuity if nothing else.
