Everybody seems to think we will be in a great position next year if we don't go up, but that really depends upon how much we have spent this year. If we have to sell Jayden and Jacob to stay within FFP then we are going to have one hell of a rebuild, bearing in mind the number of loan signings we have on the books. Also, no one knows how much cash will be available for this rebuild, we might need a year of consolidation to get it sorted. It all depends upon FFP, as always TWT.
I have. Still doesn't mean we a lot of FFP room. The phrase was used about "going for it" this year. Tan has suggested we may have to sell to stay within FFP. If you remove leavers, loanees and possible sales from the squad, it doesn't leave much. Could be a tremendous opportunity to get a balanced squad, but might take time. Who knows?
Carvalho Zaroury Giles Delap Ohio Sharp Connolly Morton And most likely one of jaden or greaves Wont be here next season Currently
An arguably too exhaustive list, since it includes U23s: Giles (loan, option to buy) Delap (loan) Aydınlık (loan) Morton (loan) Carvalho (loan) Ohio (loan) Zaroury (loan) Docherty Covil Connolly Sharp Wood (1 year option) Hall (1 year option) Taylor (1 year option) Green (1 year option) Leckie (1 year option) Christie (1 year option) Traore (1 year option) Mills (1 year option) Brown (1 year option) Fanning (1 year option) Robson (1 year option) Johnson (1 year option) Tinsdale (1 year option) Weston (1 year option) Palit (1 year option) Leake (1 year option) Nixon (1 year option)
Bold I think are big misses. Albeit we’ve done pretty well without Delap, whilst we’d be much better off with him I don’t think he’s necessarily hard to replace. Giles has been solid so far but again not impossible. Morton, Philogene and Greaves would be the difficult ones to replace. The rest I don’t think would really be too difficult
