I've heard people complain in this century about selling Gabbiadini. Nothing is ever completely resolved in football. All you can do is satisfy as many people as possible. There will always be that one headbanger who won't let it go.

It can't be resolved. No matter what the club say or do some wont be happy to let it drop. This isn't like a train company failing to get hundreds of our supporters to Wembley for the Cup Final. We didn't suffer a loss of money, no-one missed the game and there was no extra effort needed. So there was no loss of time, money or effort. Some people had their feelings hurt and want to take it out on someone ... ... in my opinion the hysteria, by a few hundred, made the situation much worse. The Mags weren't laughing at a club employee for making an error, they were laughing at those who were saying they'd been forced to bend over and take it up the arse. The Mags must laugh every time they see that, even now.
I really don't care about a few stickers in a bar. I dont think that makes me a troll or a wum. I think I have bigger more troubling troubles to trouble myself with.
There was reputational damage. No good making noises about a high performance culture throughout the club when things like this happen, and would be left to happen again if the thinking is it can't be resolved.
I've kept quiet on my take from the whole derby situation for fear of basically getting abused by either (or both) sides of the argument. As my feelings are nuanced. Below is my opinion. Remember I'm based down south and near no other sunderland or newcastle fans. so that definitely affects my feelings. The club fecked up the comms of the North stand seat moves. Fans felt alienated by it. A clear logical explanation should have come up front. Fans massively overreacted about having to move from the North stand. (in my opinion). My uncle is one of the fans who had to move and agrees with me, FWIW. I just don't understand how some fans are genuinely refusing to go back to the club they support because they were forced to sit in a different seat. It genuinely baffles me. The BCB incident was a monumental lack of awareness and judgement from the club, and it definitely has had an affect on my feelings towards the ownership. It makes me feel like they don't "get us". Should somebody lose their job over it? I don't think necessarily. I hate cancel culture, like with a passion. But to counter the above, I completely, completely understand why fans are so furious about it and want answers. And I also understand the complete frustration that the club seem to not understand exactly how this made them feel. I've seen all sides of the debates on both incidents a million times over, so there's no point anybody replying to me to change my mind.
Key words for me are it was inexcusable and more importantly preventable. Its now sorted, end of story.
