Ederson If Howe even still wanted Phillips (very unlikely, surely), I doubt it would be sanctioned by the deal makers.
I don't know either, other than he looks good on highlight reels, he's very highly rated and he's likely to be better than Phillips
Anyway, current strongest rumours doing the rounds are far more in keeping with overall transfer activity since the takeover. Some expensive players there though. CB: Giorgio Scalvini and Ousmane Diomande CM: Ederson and Kevin Zenon Striker: Benjamin Sesko and Omar Marmoush RW: Matias Soule
Scalvini, Sesko and Soule would be a fantastic window. Ederson required if we lose Joelinton or Guimares
Newcastle United might have to sell Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 24, in the summer to comply with financial fair play regulations, with long-term admirers Arsenal a possible destination. (Football Insider) Might and possible lol Or if true we'll need 3 new forwards
Dubravka conceded the fastest ever international goal last night. Another fantastic accolade for one of our players. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68648461
Everton need the money. Gordon is good mates with….. Branthwaite. Should we buy him? 60m but City are also sniffing.
We have got to start being smarter than this. For example there's a kid coming out of River Plate, one of their best talents for years, Etcheverry - 18 years old, already signed by Man City. We need to be identifying and signing Branthwaite in the Summer of '23. Our internal processes just aren't good enough, for whatever reason, and seem absolutely miles off. You're better off signing 5 youngsters for £6m each than spunking £30m on Hall who then can't get a game.
I hope not. But hey it’s Howe. Maybe a new Director of football or sports director mixes things up a bit. I can’t believe the club owners are happy with this season.
