Just the kind of level of response I was expecting tbh, and even you can see that people aren't getting upset about " a small detail on the back of a collar" are they. It's what that change is and what they are changing and isn't changing a flag that's been around a hell of a lot longer then an "historic football club" a little more controversial to 99% of the population.

I can absolutely guarantee you that 99% of the population are not upset about a small flag logo on the back of the England shirt. Despite the fact, that as juniors video pretty much conclusively proves, it’s the communist lesbians that are responsible.
And I can guarantee more people are bothered about it then a name change to little old Hull City. I personally couldn't care less what Nike have done. But I also really don't see why some people having an issue with it bothers certain people so much and it's always the same people who seem to get so wound up about others not thinking the same as them..... Oh and the complete hypocrisy of those Individuals is just hilarious no matter how much you try to dismiss it
I understand why people have an issue with it and I don’t particularly like it, but it’s only those desperately trying to make it into something it isn’t that I’m dismissive of.
It's the frothing at the mouth type posts, usually culminating in calling other people 'gammon' with no apparent sense of irony that probably tickles me the most. The FA and Nike pretty much admit they ****ed up big style over this, which kind of kills any arguments from those trying to play it down. They don't have the humility to recall it, and probably couldn't afford to even if they actually wanted to, but it's a pretty safe bet they won't do it again, and they'll make sure the St George's Cross is prominent in the events surrounding the games. I'll take that as a success, especially as it will annoy the anti-flag flagshaggers.
It's remarkable how some people having an issue with it are so bothered about people taking the piss out of their laughable conspiracy theories that they describe those people as bothered. If people don't like the design I really don't care, because I'm a grown-up (ish) and it's just a shirt. People saying this is a conspiracy to promote gay colours are rightly eligible for ridicule. That is all.
