I do hate facts when they are pretty accurate, I wonder if Dumb,Dummer & Dummy are concious of these details.

    Thought provoking.
I guess it depends on what you want from your football club.
Of course, like all football fans we want silverware and to play at the highest level, but to be ‘boring’ mid-table championship is, to me, far better than being ‘boring’ mid-table League 1 (Div 3 in old money) - which is what we were for a huge part of my time as a supporter.
Maybe one day we will make it to being ‘boring’ mid-table Premiership - but in the meantime I’ll take ‘boring’ championship.
Of course I want promotion - but I’m not willing to gamble double or nothing on dropping back to L1.

We won’t achieve the big time as long as the Lansdowns are in charge of the club
There’s just not the ambition there
The club is run to make money, or at least to minimise our losses under the current ownership regime

The money must be spread thinly on the ground when you run a "sports empire" and I firmly believe that the loss of momentum for the footballing side of the equation vanished somewhere in the Ashton Vale rubbish tip. Everything, other than a competitive football team, is there to be used when you look at the stadium and the crowd potential so why on earth would you not want to play in the Premiership in front of a packed audience, especially 30,000+ at Ashton Gate? The true followers of Bristol City have been longing for those possible heady days for way too long and most of them have given up on any sense coming from our owner.

How are we going to fit 30,000 plus into a 27,00 capacity that has to include 1200 segregation? Only time AG is full to the rafters is Bristol v Bath rugby or concerts.

I enjoyed watching Bellingham, thought Gordan looked good as well.

Thought we looked terrible, especially with Brazil fielding half a team of regulars....they still looked far better.....Englands football is worse than watching City play!!

Collectively I agree, but thought Bellingham was outstanding and Gordon had a promising debut.

Kane and Saka will improve us, Saka's far better than Gordon.
Southgate is boring and so's his football and he should play Foden as he does for Man City. He's the luckiest of managers to have Bellingham, as good a player in the world.
I'd also play Rice with Mainoo alongside him, not Henderson or Gallagher.
Who's our best LB, it can't be Chilwell.

Whatever side Southgate picks it will play with a straight jacket.
Our 'better' performances in recent years are not because of him it's instead of him.

I can’t honestly remember a really enjoyable England game - possibly the 5-1 victory over Germany? (And I was flying to Barcelona at the time so didn’t even watch it!!)
