Still trying to fathom this Diamond/Platinum vip bollocks they're doing, when basically all you're getting is a ticket and **** all else, other than it being priority seats
They are touts under an official name mate, they even mouth off about touts but have been caught employing them. It's a ****ing disgrace tbh and needs to be stopped..
Morning. A 5+ hours drive from bottom SW corner of Wales right through the middle ending in Manchester awaits. I expect to encounter many a tractor.
Morning - day revolving around picking up youngest from Reading Uni - home for Easter break ... would normally be able to listen to some footie on the radio ... but not gonna bother with the Internationals tbh ... Virgin Chilled it is then
Was meant to be driving but the guys I was going to come with still haven’t got tickets so reckon they’ll pull out. Most likely still drive rather than relying on bank holiday trains five hours each way.
QPR is a top away day for us, train to Paddington and then food and beer in town and a short tube. There's not much to see pre match round the Liberty. If you're after some pre match food etc. let me know and I'll give you a suggestion if you're driving. Otherwise, it's the Harvester outside or the outlets inside! Both ****e.
Yeah I’ve been. It’s a bit naff. Was thinking maybe set off early and park up and head to the beach but not done any research as yet. Open to ideas.
I don't know what the forecast is but, it's BH Monday and every ****er will think 'let's head down Mumbles' so traffic could be a problem, beach wise. Especially as half the road is dug up. Worth some time in Costa del Mumble though if you've got it. Swansea beach itself is lovely though, genuinely. Couple of nice bars in the Marina and then no distance to the ground from there.
Yeah was just looking. Don’t think I’ll have time for the beach or Mumbles and they’ll probably be full of obese families anyway so maybe park up, walk to the marina for a bit of brunch and cab back to the ground rather than a sad Harvester near the ground.
Mumbles isn't St Ives, so probs less of the obese! The Observatory is good, and El Pescador has a tapas bar next door, Lolis. Plus BeerRiff tap room. All on the Marina. SA1 on the other side of the river has a few bars etc. Founders & Co on the strip in town is really good, indoor pop ups with decent beers. It's walk down the river from there.
