Pity we could not win a third straight league game. But Jones has done enough since joining us to keep Charlton in the 3rd tier. As a general rule of thumb, if the number of points you are (above or below) the relegation line is greater than the number of games you have left, you are not going to cross that line before the end of the season. CAFC are 10 points above the relegation line with 7 games left to play We have built up all of that 10 point margin over the last half dozen games. We're not going to see it all disappear again.

After todays results, if teams below us win their games in hand then we will be 6 points above the drop zone with 7 games left. Just saying’ Jones out.
It's a possibility, but a very remote one. And should they somehow manage it, we would still have that 6 point advantage. From where we are now, if Charlton end up going down this season we will truly have deserved to.
