I wish we would play like this, that passage of play that nearly sent the nice young chap free down the left was great. The team breaking forward in numbers and the ball being moved fast. That’s how tippy tappy should be done.

This Brazil team are obviously nowhere near previous generations in terms of quality but they’ve still got a few world-class players. Vini Jr is the pick of the bunch, Rodrygo is also quality and so is Paquetá. Ederson and Allison are obviously world class too but are injured.

It’s still odd to see this current Brazil squad though. They look more like one of those ‘dark horse’ teams like Croatia that have some world class players but the rest are quite average in comparison.

Jude Bellingham is the best footballer to play for England since Gazza.

He has the potential to be the greatest England international ever.

Yeah and this lot aren’t terrible either they’re just not the same level as previous Brazil squads that could field a full starting XI of world class superstars and even have some world class players on the bench. It’s really a testament to how good Brazil have been as a footballing nation to produce incredible squads decade after decade that this lot look unimpressive by comparison.

Learnt a lot of the dark arts in Spain I think, but being English he'll no doubt get pulled up on it all the time when others get away with it

If Chilwell could kick a football he'd be a hell of a player.

I don't watch the PL much, but every time I see Watkins for England, he doesn't look up to what England aspire too.
