Play Video The former US president has been unable to stump up the bail bond in his New York civil fraud case. Donald Trump has suggested he could deport the Duke of Sussex from the US over claims he lied on his visa application about taking drugs. In an interview with Nigel Farage, the former president said he would take “appropriate action” if he were to win November’s presidential election and Prince Harry was found to have lied on his immigration forms. The Duke has been accused of giving false information to the Department of Homeland Security when he moved to the US with his wife in June 2020. US immigration authorities typically require visa applicants to declare they have not taken illegal drugs, but the Duke admitted last year in his memoir Spare that he had taken cocaine, marijuana and magic mushrooms. please log in to view this image Donald Trump, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. GETTY / GETTY IMAGES ‘Appropriate action’ Asked about the situation during a GB News programme airing on Tuesday evening, Trump said: “We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.” Pressed on whether that would mean “not staying in America”, he replied: “Oh I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me.” Trump has been publicly critical of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over their decision to leave the royal family. Speaking last month, the Republican nominee said he “wouldn’t protect” the couple if he won back the presidency. “He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable,” he said. “He would be on his own if it was down to me.” Trump has also directly criticised the Duchess. “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. They treated her with great disrespect and I didn’t like it,” he said in 2023. Prince Harry’s immigration status has become the subject of a lawsuit by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank attempting to sue the US government to release his immigration forms. US government lawyers have said his description of taking narcotics in the memoir is “not proof he took drugs”.
So Kate has cancer. **** me, I know others will mock, but William has really been through it, with his mum's death, his dad's diagnosis and now Kate's. I wish them all well.
I worry that they have not said what type of cancer. Just hope it's not pancreatic, bile duct or liver cancer, which are hard to cure. Apparently colon cancer is the most likely, which is curable
I hope she gets well, but why the **** you think she should be entitled to better treatment than the rest of us is beyond me. The fawning media coverage is sickening - we all know people who have suffered, or are suffering, or have died from this ****ty disease. I care much less for her than I do for someone very close to me who is near death right now.
I wish her a speedy recovery too, but you can't be a Royal - with all the privileges that that bestows - and expect privacy. It's in the job description.
l have much respect for Kate & William. I sincerely wish her well. The other two can crawl under a rock.
I didn't ****ing say that you idiot. Don't put ****ing words into my mouth. Anyone who can afford it and chooses to, should pay for their treatment imo. Everyone should have that same treatment available to them, whether it's on the NHS or paid for privately. You're not the only one who's been touched by this horrendous disease.
There is probably a happy middle ground where you hope she recovers but also think that being a forelock-tugging serf in 2024 is ridiculous.
The fact is there are many cancer sufferers going through treatment that will take heart from Kate’s dignified statement last night, and from the King’s earlier revelation. Good luck to all in their fight against this vile disease..
As I said, we all know people who have suffered, or are suffering, or have died from this ****ty disease. Yet you respond with, 'You're not the only one who's been touched by this horrendous disease'. Talk about putting words in mouths.
