If they wanted to honour the heroes of 1966 they could have used the colours they wore in the final. Red and white, Will they be redesigning the flags of other countries based on the colours on the cuffs of the training kits they wore?Of course they won’t. The FA are as culpable in this. And now we have a Nike tick on hot cross buns instead of a cross. They will be saying they are not inclusive because crosses offend some people.
