Think I'd rather Stephen Hawking at CB than Fitz.

Trouble is NW WILL play Hall at centre back and not Hill.

Well he knows better than I do, but I think Hill would cope better with Morison/Holt whereas Hall would look slightly less inept against Jackson.

Completely agree mate. I'd much prefer Hill at centre back.

Rumours circulating that we will return to the diamond tomorrow. Your thoughts?

I'd love to see it back personally, games like this are made for it!

QPR boss reveals pre-match superstitions ahead of Norwich City clash

QPR boss Neil Warnock has revealed he is plagued by pre-match superstitions.

In fact, the Hoops supremo reckons he has ‘hundreds’ of rituals including a latest fear of changing his razor blade.

Warnock also has an abject horror of seeing a single magpie, insisting it spells bad luck for his team.

But the same single blade has removed all managerial stubble since Rangers lost 3-1 to Spurs on October 30.

After that humbling the old one went into the bin, but the new one has provided a daily shave for the last three-and-a-bit weeks following the team’s spirited defence against Manchester City and the 3-2 win at Stoke last Saturday.

For a man who supports Sheffield United, aka the Blades, his skin could still be in for a rough ride if the wins pile up.

“Fortunately, with these new-fangled things, I’m hoping it will last as long as our next bad defeat,” he revealed.

Warnock will also wear the same, suit, shirt, tie and training kit at Norwich tomorrow (Saturday) as he has for the same period, and revealed that like celebrity cook Delia Smith – he is a dab hand in the kitchen, especially when making scones.

“I have been known to do bits and pieces in the kitchen, and my wife Sharon has used the book Delia sent us,” he said.

“To one of my favourite football managers”, is what the Canaries joint-majority shareholder inscribed, with Warnock cheekily sending her a copy of his autobiography as a thank-you.

The only negative of the diamond is that it could leave your full-backs somewhat exposed against SWP and Mackie.

To be fair, we looked **** against Agbonlahor and Wallcott playing 5 in the middle, its a risk worth taking IMO.

Warnock still wary of the drop

QPR manager not getting complacent despite good start to season

    Last Updated: November 25, 2011 7:04pm

QPR, Swansea and Norwich City sit in mid-table after defying expectations that they would struggle upon their promotion to the English top flight.

But Warnock, who will take his QPR side to Carrow Road on Saturday, knows that the landscape can change between now and the end of the season.

    Rubbish

"We've all acquitted ourselves well, but we're not daft," he said. "We're looking at the bottom three and are hoping to finish above them.

"We might talk a load of rubbish about Europe when we have a few good results, but apart from the top six, from Aston Villa down, everyone's in it.

"I don't see any breakaways. All season it's going to be lose to them, beat them. It'll be up and down all season.

"It's probably the most even division for a long, long time - apart from the top six."

QPR have won three times away from home this campaign, but Warnock believes that his side have still been targeted as the source of Norwich's fourth league win.

    Tough test

"Something always happens to us when we go to Norwich, we have to be wary there. We wrongly had a man sent off last year," he said.

"The crowd are quite vociferous. We haven't had many things go for us at Norwich over the years.

"But it's a great place, I love the club. Norwich have done ever so well, they have some good players.

"It's always a good game against them, they're a footballing team and don't know any other way.

"They're under pressure and, listening to their comments, they see us as the game they want to win.

"We look to win every game and treat nobody differently. We haven't won at Norwich for a while so they'll be feeling buoyant.

"We've acquitted ourselves quite well - we could have had more than four away wins if we'd been a little bit lucky.

"Some teams in our league won't win three all season away from home, but we've done that already.

"It's a great achievement by the boys and that's why we go to Norwich in high spirits."

See Lawrenson has predicted that we will lose again, so fancy us for us to get something from the game. In fact he's only predicted us to win 3 times all season and they resulted in 2 draws and a defeat. I don't think he likes us!!!

This to add a bit more pressure on Norwich?

It depends how you look at it. It could have the advantage that it forces them in-field when Norwich have possession which would reduce their threat on the counter.

I would love to see the diamond with Morrison and Jackson up front.
