Are the EFL now investigating Leicester's finances, in tandem with the FA ? If that's the case they might get a points deduction by the EFL, which will see them loss points meaning their promotion to the premier league would be under threat.
So Luxembourg, who have obviously never reached a major tournament on account of them being a tiny nation lost 2-0 to Georgia (who have also never qualified for one) in pretty bizarre circumstances. Georgia took the lead, before Gerson Rodrigues equalised. About a minute before the equaliser, the Georgia striker was through on goal but was stopped by two Luxembourg defenders. After the goal, the ref went to VAR and confirmed that there had been a foul. Luxembourg's goal was chalked off, their centre half was sent off and a couple of minutes later Georgia scored a second. No ****s were given in Tblisi. I imagine Luxembourg were fuming.
Also, Pelkas dived to win Greece a penalty in their 5-0 win against Kazakhstan. He also scored. Crap night for the smaller nations.
Picky I know, but Kazakhstan is something like the eighth largest country in the world by land area. Smaller footballing nation though, yeah.
I've got a sneaky feeling Leicester will miss out on automatic, go into the playoffs and lose....Putting them into administration and seeing many of their better players go, quickly followed by the coach and his staff. Just got that scenario to it.
“UEFA has today concluded a full and final settlement with those Liverpool fans … who have raised personal injury claims in respect of their experiences at the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final that took place in Paris.”
Ken Dodd got 25k, that's 25k after tax, Cilla Black 20k and John Lennon 20k. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Most of the settlement will have been sent to addresses which don’t have a Liverpool post code. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some of it being handed over the bar in Ebeneezers and other Hull pubs next time Liverpool are on the TV.
