Yeah it's awful, we couldn't get through the first episode. Thinking about it the first series was the only really good one, I liked S3 but it wasn't the most memorable. S4 stands alone in its own pile of **** though.
Watched it all as the wife wanted to see it out. Horrendous writing. Bad acting and the ending was one of the worst ever. Be amazed if it's got a 1 star on imdb
How did that go mate? I enjoyed it when it was first broadcast but can't bear it now ... ... without David Jason I think it would've died with the pilot.
That's it yeah bad writing and acting, Jodie Foster totally wasted, unlikeable characters. Didn't like anything about it. The critics loved it and were bandying around stuff like it was as good as S1 so I was looking forward to it, I don't know what they were smoking.
Only seen the first episode of this because the wife's been working late and can't stay awake to read subtitles but it's a quality show and is highly rated. I really liked it. Roughly billed as a Japanese game of thrones.
I haven't opened it yet smug. I took it up to me caravan. I've got the box set of life on Mars (picked up at a charity shop) in the car to take tomorrow. The site opens tomorrow and I'm collecting old DVDs to add to my collection and binge watch with alcohol I've seen a few clips of only fools lately on YouTube and I find it a classic that needs revisiting tbh.
Probably bit late as its been on there a few weeks I think but just watched first episode of the gentleman. Typical guy Ritchie so far!
Just wondering as I used to like it. I just find it really clumsy and obvious now, perhaps Michael Beale coming here didn't help
Funny enough I felt the same for years. Like it was of it's day and past it's sell by date sort of. I've just felt like giving it another go after watching some clips, I'll let you know, I might only get through a couple of episodes and think, sod this I won't be getting the boycie spin off green green grass or rock and chips. They were proper shìte
Watched it. Regretted it. Dreadful. Like marvel had taken over the series. It just did not add up at all.
