Never mind that, the biggest shock is that it is a 3.00pm Saturday kick off at HOME. As rare as a snow leopard.
I don't rate the lad that highly anyway but maybe this is a blessing in disguise and now we have no choice but to buy at least one CM. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15886235.stm
I think the fact she offered you the spare room clearly meant she wanted you to fulfil some dark fantasy she was harbouring..
We were invaded by their board that day so if can get the 3 points, i think i will be paying a visit to their board.
Hopefully this will force Fergies hand in the market in January. However, between now and January we are looking extremely light in the central of midfield which is a worry over the xmas period. Anderson just isn't good enough for United in my opinion. I , like others, have tried to give him the benefit of doubt in that ' I think he come good this year' but unfortuntatley I just don't think he ever will.
If Carrick and Fletcher stay fit we've got a decent enough CM pairing, they'll have to protect the defence and get the ball out wide and we can play 4-4-2. Any more injuries and we'd struggle, there's Giggs and, at a push, Rooney we could use. This is were the likes of John O Shea were always usefull as back up, there's Jones who could do that I guess. I agree on Anderson, he just doesn't appear to have the right attitude sadly. He's young enough to still prove us wrong but, **** me in the meantime we have to move on and plan ahead. We'll dick those idiots tomorrow. If I find the time I'll be gleefully posting on their board, jumped up twats.
I see SAF has ruled out signing any CMs in January. I really don't understand how he can't see the weakest part of our team and that it needs improving unless it's just more mind games
Lets be honest, his record in signing centre midfielders is hardly great. Achilles heel perhaps? Not that its affected his success much. The list over the last 10 years is hardly inspiring though. Djemba Djemba, Veron, Kleberson, Carrick, Anderson and Hargreaves. What's that, over £100m spent and not one midfielder that made a massive impact.
Carrick did - he was the difference between second place in 2006 and first place in 2007, 2008 and 2009 imo. Tho' that was mainly down to him really reinvigorating Scholes' career at first, and he hasn't been the same since the 2009 CL final. And Keane and Ince were fantastic signings, along with McClair and Park who have both put in decent stints in CM even tho it wasn't their main position. I reckon Hargreaves would've been great as well, had his knees and then his mental state not turned to jelly. But yeah, Veron, Kleberson, Djemba-Djemba...let's not go there I think it's a consequence of SAF wanting his teams to play in a very specific way, with a 442 that is both solid defensively and good going forwards. It puts a lot of strain on the two CMs, particularly when trying to follow in the footsteps of Keane and Scholes, and CMs that might do well at other clubs seem to flop quite badly here.
Probably because we got thumped that day. Other clubs opposition supporters came to take the mick as well but majority of the slagging came from their fans.
'Prevaricate' means that somebody gives false and incriminating information. Ironically, prevaricate is an anagram of Patrice Evra.
