One thing we haven't discussed... do you think there will be an exodus of players? Hopefully players won't want to leave because Klopp is going, we've got such a nice team now, would be a shame if it broke up some.

 

I see no reason for that, as long as the right manager comes in. There aren't many teams with greater potential for them to go to.

Players like Matip, Adrian, Williams and Philipps are possible, but from the main players, I don't see any particular desire or need to sell from the club's perspective. Gakpo maybe. The issue will be more if we get massive offers that we don't want to turn down, or players (especially senior ones, e.g. VVD) decide they want a new challenge or one last hurrah somewhere. But I don't see a massive exodus.

 

I think of the current players only ones could see is maybe gakpo diaz Gomez if someone came in with big bucks for Diaz or with promise of first team regulars for the others.

One player I expect to leave is kelleher - he should be first choice at most other prem clubs so unless no one matche valuation or he’s happy being nunber 2 and cup keeper then will be off.
