How can you not accept cash, as well as cards when there is an IT glitch?

Sausage roll £1...you hand check out assistant a pound coin, what's difficult about that? I've no idea how much their sausage rolls are btw. A lot of shops don't even hand over receipts anymore, so that can't be the problem. Although at the end of the story it says “Greggs this morning cash only! Sitting here with my coffee watching almost everyone have to walk out.”

I'd certainly agree with you on using and being paid in cash. About the one thing we do agree on.

Yeah that's true, if it was me, I'd just use pen and paper for the sales and till them up once the system comes back on. I assume as long as it's done by EoD everything will balance.

umm my guess management have less faith in their staff and in my experience with good reason as most folk appear to have lost the ability to do even simple maths .Plus it would take some time to record each item purchase and ensure everyone uses the same description fpr the items .
If it is a sole trader outlet yeah it would be fine .

I'd probably just use one member of staff to do the cash handling, especially where handling food, whoever is the most savvy of the bunch. If customers want their food it is what it is, better than employees sitting around doing fook all and customers going hungry. But knowing companies these days, they don't like people that find simple solutions.

Had Lee Anderson mad Brendan Clarke Smith crying about a St George’s flag on an England shirt today.

30% child poverty in Ashfield and Bassetlaw. Maybe that should be a focus for them. ****s.

Reform are irrelevant to be honest.

They aren't running on anything, they are just the working class moron party, people who barely vote.

I suppose a big thing for them is migration? But without Farages watch over them, they slip into major figures just saying overtly racist things.

They really won't make a dent anywhere, their polling is also way higher than reality, I'm sure of it.

Davey seemed extremely confident today, so I'm sure he's figured out on the doorsteps they're seeing a ton of Tory swings.

Brendan is not with reform yet, it would be his final grift after the GE.

I don't see anyone in Number 10 next other than Keir, it's a no contest, that's why he don't have to do a reveal on any of his policies, good position to be in. Ed Davey is just an ugly fooker that needs a boot up the arse into the nearest river, stupid prat, not any improvement on that last crazy old bat they had Jo Swinton.
