I'd snatch your hands off for 95 points as being a target which gives us a chance. Because barring a big swing in GD, that would require Leeds failing to win 4 - 6 of their final 8 games, and/or Leicester failing to win 5 - 8 of their remaining 9 games. And that's before even considering Ipswich. I'm still saying 98 - 100 points (in part because of our GD).
I’m remaining optimistic until we are mathematically in the play offs. We could very well beat all 3 of the teams above us if we play at our best. Massive ask, but you never know.
Yeah, that's the bare minimum, but it's conceivable given the matches remaining. Any rational hope we have of going up at this point is contingent on us beating two of the teams above us, and having them falter a bit otherwise. If we're talking scenarios in which they don't slip up, we'd effectively need to run the table.
Just seen a stat that over the 13 games that Leeds have played with Rodon and Ampadu as the CB partnership they've not conceeded a single goal from open play and only 3 goals in total. Mad.
Yeah as good as Bednarek and THB have been, they're nothing on the Leeds pair. The fact that Leeds don't have great full backs makes their achievements even more impressive.
Just noticed that over the 2 rounds of fixtures over Easter none of the top 4 kick off at the same time except when we play Ipswich. Will be fascinating to see how the table looks come 2nd April.
