No because he has been struggling for a few weeks with it so I believe his op was always planned for this forthcoming break. No break and I’d assume he’d nurse it until close season, better to get him fixed for the run in.
I'm sure Rutter will be up and running very shortly then as my gall bladder surgery was deeper! Seriously though I was lucky I didn't feel any pain after my operation and went to Leicester the day after. I've had to remember I've had two major surgeries over the last year along with my hip operation and it's only when I start to feel uncomfortable or have any further pain that I realise what I've gone through. He's a lot younger than me too so I'm expecting a good recovery for him.
Didn't you read Farke say that if this 10-day 'wait & see' recovery period means that he's still only 95% fit, then he'll require surgery that will keep him out until the end of the season. At least, that's what I thought I read. Never rely on a bloke with memory problems, though!
No doubt we will find out soon enough. There's been a lot of kidology (pretending) what is happening but fingers crossed it works out well for both him and us.
Every surgery has a risk, though. Surgeons always tell you this. If it's not incompetence or mistakes, which is rare, it's infection. And that can be a killer, far less debilitating. We all hope it'll go ok, so fingers crossed (but I'm still sh1tting myself at the prospect). Sadly my gall bladder didn't go well. Had to be checked back in to re-acquaint myself with my (very welcome) good friend, Morphine. That reduced my kidney stone pain measurement from a 10/10 to a mere 6/10. Not fun.
That doesn't sound good. I do believe I was one of the lucky ones though but even though it was paid by the NHS I chose Spire to do the operations. Just things like having my own room were a big bonus.
