Sounds like someone really wants the ownership and fanbase unsettled/unaligned. Doesn't seem to be coming from the press, so it's not clicks/cash. Wonder if there is a party interested in the club who are trying to get KLD to the table. Sounds unlikely but I just can't understand the negative guff floating about.

I'm not one to get into conspiracy theories but.... John Hall tried his level best to cut us off at the knees when he was setting up his geordie nation, nothing personal, purely business. The house of Saud have extensively monitored the internet to control any negative comments, it's not too far fetched that they would take steps to protect their investment in the NE and belittle any opposition. to be honest if the club is in the process of being sold you don't want it hitting the papers until it's actually done, if it's hitting the papers and a takeover is playing out in the media it usually means one of the parties is playing funny buggers and the trying to get the price dropped or drum up interest in it to get the price up depending on what side is doing it
This is a good point. How come the club manage to keep secret details of the players that we are interested in until they are actually at the AoL having the official photos taken and yet details of something as commercially sensitive as the potential sale of the club are all over the internet? Apparently!!!

It's not difficult to join the dots as to how this would be plausible. The club haven't covered themselves in glory for three or four months now, there's rumblings about Sartori etc. but I'd be so disappointed if KLD was to bail out at the first sign of trouble. There's nothing going on that can't be turned around.
Aye, they went too deep with "the board can't wait to see the back of KLD" and "obviously Tom White is close to Dave Jones" There is not 1 person I've worked with over the last 25 years that I've ever been "close to"
Wouldn’t surprise me if it was up for sale… not sure if the background to this story has any truth.. but as for the club being for sale it potentially could happen
