40. It was better 40 or even better 50 years ago when we had owners like Jim Gregory, who I bet never spent anything he couldn’t afford, or couldn’t get back through some dodgy deal, on QPR. I have no problem with clubs going into administration for pure business reasons - if they have the fan base they are always resurrected - but punished for not complying with stupid rules is nuts.
Civil war amongst Leicester fans as some think Lineker was an upgrade on Worthington. Others don’t agree…..
Ended up 4-0 to Rapid, cracking game (watched it on a stream). Crowd looked amazing, jnr says the atmosphere was wild... All the Ultras dressed in black with balaclavas on, flares and firecrackers on the pitch
Been seeing this on X. Despite the banter over the years, sad to read this as I would be about any club (with the possible exception of Millwall!). Hope they can manage to get themselves out of it. Massive shout out to our owners for their ongoing commitement to QPR.
Thought this an appropriate place to identify this mystery player who is apparently injured. Anyone recognise him?
No, I agree RTID, I think there’s much more in this than just an injury. It feels like a delicate situation that everyone is managing with kid gloves.
They were so delighted with the little accounting trick to push the fee into the next year that no one stopped to think why Tony Bloom would agree a future fee for a player who had anything worth paying for.
Former Queens Park Rangers defender Bright Osayi-Samuel knocked a violent pitch invader to the ground during a wild on-pitch brawl in Turkey. Ugly scenes unfolded at full-time of Fenerbahce’s 3-2 win in the Turkish Super Lig against rivals Trabzonspor. Ex-Manchester United star Fred scored a first-half brace while Michy Batshuayi won the game for Fenerbahce in the 87th minute. Footage showed 26-year-old right-back Osayi-Samuel at the centre of the chaos. One viral clip on social media shows the Nigerian pursuing a fan before delivering a powerful punch to the face, leaving the masked supporter flat on the turf. Another clip shows Osayi-Samuel initially spotting the pitch invader while jumping up and down celebrating. He can then be seen squaring up to the thug, parrying a punch and delivering a punch of his own while a security guard slams the fan in question to the ground.
Forest docked points after buying a load of players who didn’t even get in their squad and spunking £100k+ a week on Jesse Lingard. Who’d have thought it?
