We’ve got to win our games in hand. We do that and it’s still just one swing of results away. It’s a long shot, but until we fail to win again nothings really changed, except that our opponents have one less opportunity to slip up. It’s a long shot and there’s basically no margin for error from us. Fair play to our rivals who just keep on winning.

Your strength is the way you can regroup and get back on level terms, when you ship a goal, and your ability to keep pushing forward to get the winner.
You can be open at the back and give opportunities.
I might be mistaken but I seem to remember one of your players saying that Saints were easy to play against as they knew what we were going to do with the ball.
I think we are a lot better than when we met at SMS and I am hoping that the players have remembered the post match comment and use it to light up a few fires in the belly, not that they should need any help with that, IF we are still in with a shout.

Whether we get it or not, we didn't bottle it. There has never been a top 4 that have accrued this many points between them at this stage. We're averaging 2 points a game - that is not bottling it!

Not sure if it is best to finish 3rd or 4th because the team finishing 6th can sometimes be on a surge and go into the playoffs absolutely flying.

Yeah I don't think it matters too much between the two positions. Just want the 2nd leg at home.

The teams that finish 3rd and 4th get the 2nd leg at home.

The current order of the top five is I think how it will finish (albeit I'm not confident enough to put money on it). But I really can't decide on 6th. I rate all three of Norwich, Hull and Coventry.

If we were to get 3rd, then I'd be wanting Preston to get 6th. But assuming that we finish 4th, then I'd be wanting one of the above three to get 6th.

Any extra time at the end of the second leg, if tied, or straight to penalties?

Leicester have 8 and Leeds have 9 games left. We need them to lose 4 of them while we win 3 and draw one to get into second. We then need to match their remaining games.

    Mathematically possible, but not happening.

Not quite. We win our 2 games in hand we are 3 points off. Then we are level on games and 3 points off. (remember one of the games in hand is Leicester - so even though we only have one game in hand over Leicester, win it and it is like having an extra game.)

Ifs, buts, but deffo not over IMO. Unlikely, but when have we ever done it easy.

Oh yeah I forgot 2 games in hand. Massive oversight!

Okay if we win our games in hand maybe I will believe again. A little bit. Big ask though.

As I said 1 game in hand is v Leicester. Win that (unlikely i know) and that is like having 2 games in hand over Leicester.

Also dont forget, we have to play Leeds & Ipswich. It really is in our hands. A tough ask, but in our hands.

TBH I fully expected Leeds and Ipswich to win this weekend. It really changes very little except our margin for error has decreased a bit.

Ipswich have three huge games coming up. They could easily drop points against Blackburn, Norwich will be up for it and of course yourselves.

Too close to call at the moment, I have a feeling Leicester will be the ones most likely to slip up, losing a 17 point gap must have a negative effect mentally.

Ipswich are very poor defensively, that might be their downfall, it’s going to be very unlucky for two teams

It's possible, but it's increasingly unlikely. We need something like a 7W 1D 2L close, which would take us to 95 points. Even that is no guarantee of making it, but assuming two of those wins came against Leeds/Leicester/Ipswich, we'd have a chance. But that's an incredibly difficult target to meet.
