I'm not sure we gave them the initiative, they just took it. It's not always about our deficiencies and sometimes you have to accept that the opposition were good on the day.
Three out of four derby wins and a league position far better than last season. And all this with a rag tag bunch of players in the main. Got to put this one behind us now and get on with planning for next season. Let's blood some youngsters and to hell with the results.
Glass still more than half full here.

I'm not saying I'm disappointed or anything but I'm getting on a flight to go spend 4 days in Torremolinos tomorrow to drown my sorrows <laugh>

1st half we were dreadful. 2nd half was better with the subs making a difference and on another day we could have undeservedly nicked a point, but thems the breaks and we'll have to suck it up and go again after the International break now.

Just wish someone had accidentally knocked Darling out before the end, he's a cheating gobby barsteward....

Or even done it deliberately and hope the ref didn't see it. As he didn't see most of their shirt pulling all afternoon.

Feckin' useless ref. Gave them the benefit of the doubt if they did something. Immediate whistle if we did it. If we ever see him again it will be too soon.

Yes I suppose but we made them look far better than they actually are.

The ref was atrocious mind - that’s not sour grapes but justified.

When will City ever play well down there? Even when Flint scores to win City didn’t play well and there were no fans there. The fans must be fed up of standing in that rust bucket watching them play so poorly and having to listen to the home rabble gloat.

    Shoulders knees and toes????

To be fair you were head and shoulders above us in the first half, but your players had problems staying on their toes and feet.... Can only assume you all had shorter studs because they seemed to fall over an awful lot throughout....

Just a shame our players were a little more honest and stayed on their feet when pulled about.

There we go though, you've avoided the shame of the double being done back and I'm sure once the joy of beating us subsides a bit your players will drop their standards again...

The worst part of today is they’ll probably now escape relegation which means we’ll have to suffer watching them again twice next season.

Nah. Try to see it as an opportunity to do the wurzeljack double (not a line dance) next season <cheers>

Bulut said the plan was not to press them and control it in midfield. Again he blames the players. Hard to believe we have played worse than this under this manager.20 minutes to go and we get the players on that should have started. It seems for most Bulut can do no wrong.
