There’s definitely something in Walton being a presence and a leader. Don’t see us dropping Hladky and Tuazebe at centre back was a disaster so I don’t see Woolfy getting the chop either. I think we will keep it this way till the end of the season, warts and all.
I think Wolfy plays better when Axel is at RB. when Clarke plays, it’s more attacking but he gets out of position quite often. Wouldn’t drop hladky who I think has had a good season but I can see Walton approaching McKenna at seasons end to ask what his future at the club is. We’ve had a few keepers down the years who haven’t minded being a permanent back up - don’t think Walton falls into that category
A good omen. Last night I dreamt I was playing with our team on the practice pitch. They were very welcoming! Who else has such footie fanciful imaginings?
They have won 5 of their last 7 league games. their only defeats were to Leicester and …. erm….. Leeds so no problem for Ipswich, as you are as good as Leicester and us
Cov have won, so FA Cup semi final beckons. Hopefully that may help us ad we have to go there in few weeks time.
