I probably would too but I'm just hoping we can get ourselves comfortable asap at least then we can look to next year and experiment with some freedom

Absolutely, at least Jobe can score, Burstow is one of the worst loans I’ve ever seen us recruit. At least playing Hemir is giving game time to one of our own lads.

Don’t know what AA has to do to get a start

I suppose killing him was a bit harsh

I like the lad but he should be rested

I think the lad is decent, and has great potential, overall has done well this season considering how unsettled the squad has been due to constant head coach changes, and a million injuries.

What’s ****ed us over is a lack of options. Totally agree that all players need a bit of rest occasionally, and I feel him and Ekwah have suffered the most from it. Both on their day can change the game, but if it’s not working our options to change things have been very limited.

Whilst obviously it’s not a long term solution, I feel that if we’d had Evans back at the start of the season then we’d be in a better place, it would allow Neil a bit more freedom for a start, who has been brilliantly unselfish filling a role no one else in our team could do.

Evans was all but written off by quite a few attempts the start tbh.

And I should be bothered? The bloke wasnt good enough for Blackburn, he isnt good enough for us, if you think he is, well settle for mediocrity

Id have loved to seen him back earlier season, just a shame that it looks like time is against him to get fit, and then match speed ready. Does his job well, no spills or thrills, allows others a bit more freedom further up the pitch

Not at all, I didn't ask you to be.

You've given an opinion, I've given mine ...

... no need to become aggressive.

I was surprised to hear him mentioned by Dodds, my understanding was that he has been training recently but he wouldn’t be up to speed before seasons end. If he can actually get on the pitch and play well I suppose that puts him in contention for a contract renewal, something I thought unfathomable until yesterday.

Yes he plays an important role that some people just can't see ...

... no one has come close to replacing him despite attempts by Neil, Ekwah, etc.

He's just what we need at the moment imo.

I was gutted, and I am still annoyed that we didn’t manage to get Henderson before he tanked his public imagine and went over to the Saudi league.

Felt like it was destined for the lad to come back home. Would have been THE perfect signing for us, given us leadership, and played a part no one else could.

As I said, he is the best we have but no where near good enough, I will be amazed if he plays for us again

Don’t get this at all. He wasn’t “sparkling”. But he was a very good CDM. Proven by how much he has been missed. Mediocrity may not be good enough for you, but it’s certainly better than Jobe’s current form, and Ekwah’s, and way better than Burstow etc have been this season.
