That's because the away team didn't sell all theirs.

Did we ever find out why we have an extra line of stewards in the North Stand?

The then editor of the FC Fanzine led a campaign for a 15,000 stadium with standing not seating as that was big enough for FC and the only time a bigger one would be needed for football would be if Leeds United moved here. Needless to say he was a Leeds fan. His tag line was Hull FC and Leeds united Pride Of Yorkshire. Typical of the small time attitude too many in Hull have.

How do they manage elsewhere with bigger crowds but less stewards? And the one in front of fans sat down not stood up or walking about lie headless chickens?

There were a quite a few Turkish family groups in the corner between East and North at the Birmingham game. Nice to see.

It's always showing green for the pitch area = good availability. Maybe that's why it's never fully sold out?

They don't, they have segregation and stewards the same as we do, Leeds v Leicester was a sell-out, but the attendance was over 900 below capacity.

Leicester, Norwich, Ipswich and Leeds have all averaged around 95% capacity this season (the highest in the league), as it's impossible to hit 100% due to segregation, I think Norwich is the lowest segregation with 500 seats left empty.

Norwich don’t have 500 seats left empty Their capacity is 27,244 and for 7 of the last 8 have had a crowd of over 27,000. In fact 3 seasons ago they average 27,025. They have one aisleway of segregation with half a dozen stewards in it. Reading aren’t now but are another club with just one aisleway of segregation in a full stadium. Brentford don’t lose any seats to segregation. There are plenty of others that only lose a hand full of seats.

there are at least a 6/7 seats around me that are unavailable yet no one has ever sat in them since Acun took over. I was going to email the club to see if there may be a slight issue with the ticketing system as the same batch of seats in E10/E11 are also always available even during the sell out games.

Was in E10 the other week and told could not get 4 seats together. Ended up with 3 in one row and one in the row in front. There were more than 6 seats empty in each town and the one in front as well.

I mean the extra line that separates one block of City fans from another.

Well let’s just add stadium management into the endless list of things Norwich are better than us at

It is the SAG and police to blame. Not being our stadium probably does not help.Neither does the original design of our stadium help which did not seem to take into account the need for matching up concourses with segregation for football matches.

Nobody seems to have asked Brighton. Capacity 31,876, record attendance 31,752. Or Reading whose average attendance was within 250 of their capacity for 3 seasons.

Where have you got those numbers from, they haven't had an attendance over 27,000 according to this and this site's normally accurate - https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/norwich-city/attendances
