Tbh I liked it, I just thought it was 20 mins too long. Without Rockwell would've been about 6/10 though.
You're right actually, my wording was "I don't think" they are comparable so the word think is quite important.
Over an hour into Dune. Just as boring and mundane as I expected it to be tbh. Will try and persist but probably bin it off if it doesn't improve soon.
Same here, didn't bother with it at all but seen a few posts on here and there's literally fck all in terms of new films so thought ok might as well. The thing is, there's literally fck all on so I can't be arsed to switch it off Maybe if they allowed Will Smith back on the Oscars to slap a few more actors I'd watch that instead.
I watched Free guy with my young un Ryan Reynolds its an easy watch about a game simulation thing and one of the NCP’s, them background figures in games that just walk about manage to become a main character Its quite funny all things considered it’s a 7.1/10
Been noticing there's some proper Jewish and Islamic references in this. I haven't seen it but my kids loved it. A few good Reynolds films like that. The Scrooge one with Will Ferrell was easy viewing and good as well. Anyways Ramadan Mubarak bro. No thread?
Breaking 5.5/10 tough subject matter and a true story but it's just not that interesting as a film unless it has personally affected you, I imagine.
Damsel 7.5/10 Like most films these days, it starts off good, decent initial idea, really well made... then after about an hour it seems they've no fcking idea where to go with it and return to same old same old. Are there any orginal stories left to tell? Fck's sake.
I can honestly say Poor Things is an original story. There is a lot of repetition in the film industry without a doubt. The jump to comics was an opportunity but so many have been done badly.
Anyone watching the whole bunch of Walking Dead spin offs? They made like half a dozen of them when the main show ended I stopped Watching TWD around season 7 or 8, but it went on till season 11. They ended it, but Daryl got his own spin off, Rick and Michonne got one, Negan and Maggie got one. My brother insists they are good! lol Checked the ratings and they are all averaging about 400k viewers per episode domestically, where as the parent show, at its peak, averaged like 12 million viewers! And they have all been renewed for second seasons!! What is AMC thinking, 400k people out of a population of 331 million is like 0.15% of people watching your show, thats dog ****. No wonder studios are losing money hand over fist....why do they insist on polishing up ****e and calling it gold?
Never watched a single episode. Never seen an episode of the wire either and some other shows people swear by like stranger things. Just never interested me.
