Hull City have slashed ticket prices for their Good Friday clash with Stoke City by 50 per cent as a thank-you for the club's impressive support this season.

City's biggest MKM Stadium crowd for seven years watched the thrilling 2-2 draw with Leicester City on Saturday in what was the fifth sell-out of the campaign, with 24,605 packed in, and given the huge reduction in prices, bosses expect another packed house for another crucial game in the Tigers' quest to secure a place in the play-offs between now and early May.

Adult fans can watch the game for as little as £10, while Under-10 prices drop to just £1.50. Over-65s are priced from £6.75 and just £5 for youngsters aged between 16 and 22, while Potters fans, who will again benefit from free coach travel as they have done since 2013, are expected to sell all of their 2,346 tickets with theirs also slashed.

The club is offering a 50% discount on all tickets as we aim for a sixth sell-out of the season when we welcome the Potters to the MKM Stadium on Good Friday (KO 3pm 29 March).

Have we won a game that we've sold out at home yet?

Have we had a game this season that's truly sold out? :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Last week was pretty close but I'm not sure what our actual 'capacity' is?

(Built to hold 25,586 but I'm not sure that's ever been feasible)?

Given that it's on tickets sold, so if you don't turn up you're still in the attendance figure, I don't consider 900ish empty seats as a sell out. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

If every available seat is sold, it is by definition, sold out.

Any ideas on why we fall short of a capacity by 900ish then? Obviously the much maligned no go zones no longer exist, comes across as a bit odd that it's not nearer the actual maximum capacity?

    Has anyone got any idea?

Because those seats aren't available to sell, presumably the rows of seats either side of the away fans (now we have them in the corner).

The seats that are used are counted as sold, whatever was paid for them, effectively our current capacity is the 24,605 we sold for Leicester (unless there's some corporate seats that aren't counted when they say sold out as you can't buy them on a match by match basis).

Ground should have held 15k ( Mr T Brooking)then we could be discussing 14600 as a sell out.

They need to make their minds up, some of the other sell out attendances this season have been hundreds below that figure. To save the four pages of waffle, that is all. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
